Yeah its pretty much US vs Canada in the other world cups. Pookinators is sitting better then me. They won there match 3-0 while i only managed a tie.
Does anyone know if you win CWC or ChL do you get an automatic bid in for next season?

Yeah, you would get an automatic invite. And the winner doesn't count against his countries regular invites.

This is a tight race for the top spot this season. 1-6th place are all still in the hunt. With what Rayvok & tujague just told me there may be a chance that 5th place can sneak into the ChL if Africville Wins it.

I'm not sure the next team in line counts for the past champion. If both you and Pookinators make it to the finals of the CWC and finish in the top 4 en league, does anyone replace that Champion's provisional?

Yes, they will just go down the ladder until they fill up all 8 US teams in the International tourneys. ChL winner (an American for this example) gets in automatically. Then it's the top 4 from league play.
The four teams in the CWC are the top four teams from the NC. Assuming some of those teams finish in the top 4-5 of I.1, then they will go to 5th, 6th, etc place in the NC.

And I'm out. As expected. Not enough offense going against a great goalie = no chance. jdevils is out too. So the ChL teams have failed.

The Atomics clinch survival! I think. I'm above the second green line, so I think that means I'm safe.
I can't tell you how many times I screwed up tactics/line-ups this season. On top of that, I have 3 new starters on D and two new forwards. Next season will probably be another struggle as the new players gain experience, but I'm very happy to stay up here another season

Congrats! I managed to clinch survival today too. Coupling that with an entry to the next CWC, I'd say it's been a pretty successful season for the Betamax. Now to work on a plan to better manage season energy while adding several competitive games to next season's schedule.
I'm considering picking up a pro pack, making a logo, and maybe improving upon the team name (a relic from when soccer was in beta) before the next campaign. Any comments on the usefulness of the pro pack?

I would suggest it especially if you plan on rebuilding your team in the next year (3 seasons) It really makes it easier to plan for games when you know if the other team has suspended or injured players or even if they change tactics at all. I ritually look at the team analysis before most of my matches.
