It amazes me how many people are selling 100 or managers right now. They can sell for 9 million in a month. crazy

Congrats on picking up Jovan. I picked him up trying to provide depth at wing midfield, but he became expendable after other acquisitions.
The round of 16 is way too early for the top 2 OTR teams in the tournament to meet. (no offense to Arlington, who I just re-passed)
I mean, I agree that it's a little weird to have the top two OTR teams play this early, but at the risk of being blunt, isn't the low seed that led to this matchup just your trade-off for saving energy during the group phase while the rest of your group played on VH?
That's fair. I could have played at the same intensity as the rest of my group, but it would not have made much sense (at least to me). There seems to be at least a couple of these situations every year where two teams that are near (or are) the top teams in the tournament meet and two teams that are about 30-40% behind those teams (in OTS) meet.
I don't seem to recall being in a ChL group that played at VH intensity as much as this group this year.

Oh, totally...I'm not saying that you made the wrong choice, just that it's a trade-off you have to accept in that situation. Maybe they saw the monster team in their group and decided they needed to expend the effort? Taibah in particular has energy to burn because they can play VL in almost every league game and still win their league title.
Zomg may correct me, but I think he got bounced from the group stage last season because he got stuck in a group playing on VH.
