When setting practice I want to set the Automatic one. What are the boxes where I fill in the numbers telling me? Is it a percentage of practice that I want to go there? A limit as to how high the attribute can get?
Also when can I get players and staff from the pool? I would like to get at least 2 players that don't completely suck and I want to staff my facilities. Everytime I try it says I don't have enough experience. I admit I don't but my team needs help.
Lastly, everybody I play, which appears to be newbys too, plays 3 lines. I don't think that will be the best way to grow my players or keep them with enough energy for the end of the season. Is this the wrong way to think? I'm in for the long haul not for a season or 2.
Thanks.
Greg

For the second question, i think you need 11 experience points. So 2-3 more days, and you'll be able to hire staff, buy players from the market and take minimum loan.
And you are right about final question. Spend your energy wise, but also make sure to make it into play offs. Higher in standing, the more money you will get.
Thanks. So I should use the boxes as if they are percentages and they need to add to 100? Right?
You could, but its not necessary. Say you only set 3 attributes and set them at 2,1,1. You'll get the same result as if you set them 100,50,50. Think of them as ratios, i.e. 2:1:1, 100:50:50, 100:57:32:14, 13:9:7:5:3:1, etc. Also, any boxes that you leave empty will count as zeroes.
And because they are just ratios, you could scout the best player at a position and set all of the values in the practice box to match that player and he will be trained exactly to those numbers and then maintain the ratios as he surpasses those values.
However, if you qualities are not go you may end up training the player for a long, long, time and not efficiently. That is why I like to create my own ratios for every player based on the qualities of the given player, maximizing his development.
Sadly that is a lot more tedious without a pro pack
