Well, crap...
We finished on an easy game last week and I forgot to re-adjust the roster appropriately in time.
We're missing 2 veteran backs. I flubbed it.
Romania and Brazil were probably out of our league already, but the other 3 countries we had a pretty good leg up on. Now it'll be a bit closer. You guys forgive me if we make it past the qualifications, right?

Ahhhh,...............yes! It happens to us all sooner or later.
In light of losing 2 of the games that were toss-ups, I've elected to give our 18 and lower players called up some play time rather than try to win a single game. We're going to have a great 19yo goalie next season, so it'll be high time to put it all on the line. I've already got the lineup picked out.

Uh... I'm trying to add players to the U19 NT, we have 19 players, and I'm getting an error message that I can't select more than 30 players... That's gotta have to do with the elections ending soon, right? :/
NVM, now it works... odd. I guess the game didn,t want me to bring that one player, lol
Hey everyone. Just letting you all know I will not be returning as NT manager for the upcoming season. I'm very seriously considering quitting, so it wouldn't make sense to leave the NT in a bad situation. I'll share my scouting list with whomever takes the helm, but I've seriously fallen behind on this. If you have players I may have missed this past season, I can try to add them before the end of my term here. (Same goes for the Senior NT, although I wasn't the one doing the call ups, haha).
FIY, now that things have calmed me down a bit, I've sent an email to support to see if they would add me as U19 manager.
They've done it when the U20 manager for hockey went inactive several years ago, so who knows.
Better someone who forgets to switch lineups than having no lineups at all, yea? Maybe Bobby Jay can help me out a bit, too?

Injury to our goalie probably just lost us this game vs France. So now we're 1 W, 2 draws and 1 close loss at the halfway point. It's not a bad record (we are currently sitting 2nd with 1 extra game on everyone else in the group), but we definitely need to climb that hill in the 2nd half. We're getting a friendly next week, so now's the time to send the kids out to training camp, folks!
Our group has been very, very tight so far (with the exception of Estonia). We managed to draw with the russians TWICE! Haha.
One game left against France (whom is the only team that has beaten us so far, by 2 points only and I think it was an "away" game for us), we're pretty much locked into the qualifying group.
I'd say that's not too shabby considering our tiny pool of talent and the fact I missed the first few weeks of the season xD

Whelp, sorry, I wasn't able to squeeze out many wins this season. We had a LOT of 18yos as regulars this season, tho, and our main G will be 19 next season as well, so I think it'll be a better showing. Sometimes there are transition years, what can I say?
