importance doesnt factor into that and there is a reason for that. We mainly wanted to get rid of ridiculous lineups.
if you use a crappy goalie, you will get penalized by the sponsors.

what is the reaseon behind the latest developement of ppm? I see more and more managers spending irl money for commercial which gets them way higher then normal prices for the players. Why are you making the game less equal and instead into who has the biggest irl wallet?
+1
Real money is supposed to give some help, not real advantage.
Selling players for bigger amounts of money is a real advantage.

i dont think the costy price has anything to do with the commercial. It has to do with the fact all teams started with very crap players and the youngsters are much better players. they may be "crap" but among best current players.
I think the mistake was to start the league with crap veteran players. If they were better OR, the cost of some of those youngsters would not be too high, I think.
what i also dont get is how people get players 240+ Or with low academy while, for example, i cant get those in hockey or soccer with higher academy.
people pulling high OR players with low academy is the biggest issue.
I know teams that pulled 250 player with academy level 2 (or 3). and we could see many people selling those players earlier in the season.
If we have started with 300+ OR players and pulling 100-150 OR, one would have to think twice before selling the vets. Plus, only high quality players would be selling for top money.

Hmm, I think.
There is a checz right now that buy all the advertising places. He got 5 players on transfer, only one over 200 OR. All players got bids on 6-8 M each already.
So he will get around 36 M for those players. Without advertising I think he would get around tha half.
I, myself have used the ads a lot too, and I´ve often got around the double on what I should get for those players. So I think they have to change it somehow.
He has used 8000 credits on the ad-system in handball so far.

Yep, that advertisement thing really makes a difference.
@illesnille: Or look at one guy (of several) in your country's I.1. Also lots of advertisement from day one of handball.
You can absolutely make a lot more credit money if you spend a lot of real money! And I mean really a lot, just one add (as I sometimes do) doesn't give you too huge a boost.
And now they make the Ad-thing even more attractive? Well, it may be good for PPM as a business in short term, but less so for the usual user without lots of cash. The prices for the adds in handball are crazy most of the time, to the disadvantage of normal users like me who would invest some credits on this.
Imho this is worse at the start of a sport then at later times - less players on the market, smaller supply. That's why the situation in football is better and more relaxed. But it really results in a huge bias during the beginning phase of a sport.
Essentially this ad system results in advantages for money (at least when extremely used), which is no good. And also against the spirit of PPM.

If nobody pays, nobody can play for free
@ bulls4ever
I find your post very intersting. No logic in getting better players with academy level 1 than the starters. They created a lottery game not a manager game.

Yeah, I know, we are some in swedish that have used the Ads also, me included. But that still doesn't mean I like the system. I do only use it because it five an advantage.
I'm now "feeling forced" to put money in PPM to get a chance to be at the top, I don't want to do that even if I can afford to pay for it.
It would be better if they didn't use money IRL and luck as the two biggest factors to build a good team...
I agree with you on everything you are saying.

I also used it sometimes. I'm not totally against the advertisement system.
But especially during the first season of handball we now see where this can go. I really like to see statistics about the effect of the ads, but at least I hope the PPM team has them and will react eventually. There have to be some limits.

Yep, if you calculate players with ads/without ads in handball, I think it will be about the 50-100 % more expensive for the ones with ads.
But then you have to buy 10 ads maybee per player, but some people do that on every player they sell.
And like you say, it's now in the beginning the ads make the most difference.

I have a feeling all of those transfer will get reported and adjusted. He will be pissed of that all those credits just got him a "fair" deal.
The bad thing in using adverts to much is of course that everybody will know about your player and the sale. If you get to much money someone reports it and you will only get the players real worth. Good use of adverts can get you a great prize without getting the deal adjusted, but not that crazy prises we see know for his players.
I do believe some restrictions should be in use in the adverts. PPM of course see it as a cash cow but it really messes up the game. I dont want PPM to go full out "tennis duel" or any of the other "pay to play" duel-games.

wow, now i see why the complaint .. My biggest sell was a 213 player for 5M.
Maybe he found a way to cheat? 8000 credits is a lot of money

Its around 1000 dollar I think, which I think pretty many of us can afford if they can. But most of us don't want to pay it on a game. Therefor they should remake the adsystem
hard to believe one would spend that money. he probably got credits from tons of referals
