My bad on today's game folks, though I don't think all is lost. It'll be tough to qualify having a weak team but if I save energy against the elite (Brazil, Germany) we may be able to sneak in. That's a big "may" since we would need to go undefeated thereafter. Decisions decisions...

Sorry about today's game guys. I set our tactics this morning before breakfast and apparently the game was already played... that's quite strange given most NT games are in the afternoon/evening our time. It is a shame since that's one we may have actually had a crack at winning. Oh well. We won't qualify for the WC so I'm likely, after the next game, going to run a group of 15 and 16yos for the rest of the season.
Just so everyone is aware, I'm planning on running with a team of 15-16yos in the final tourney of the season. That being said, we are lacking in a few positions in regards to non-17yo guys.
Finally got a good goalie prospect at the end of the season here, only problem is 5/6 C/L and heading.

Thanks for the info. That is pretty good for a fresh 15yo. Sucks about the time of the season and the C/L. I'm going to wait until next year to add more guys. I'm thinking of only adding 15yos.

Holy crap! We won again with our 16 year olds this time against Germany! I should have not thrown in the towel vs. Brazil but I thought saving energy would be worthwhile - didn't think they'd play VL. Last season put us in a big hole for U17 WCQ and it'll be tough to qualify but I'll keep the pressure on!
