I wonder how tie-breakers are decided? Alphabetical (scary as that is)?
I noticed that Australia and Belarus both had two 1-1 ties, but we are ranked 1st somehow!

if all teams draw 1:1 then Belarus should have advanced as they scored more goals away.. cause the score would be 3:3, same points
However, there might be current ranking or another criteria that I'm not aware of..
.. the current ranking doesn't really matter as it might be just in Alphabetical as PPM does not have option 2 teams on the same ranking..
the best option for us is taht the other match will end up goalless draw..

Just saw the results... Great 2-0 win against Estonia!

So we did finish top of the group which means we play Venezuela tonight. They are fairly evenly matched with us so I'm hopeful but we do have a player suspended which will make it a little more difficult.
We have won the group, unfortunately lost the game against Venezuela. Still, I see it as success especially ahead of last match in group all the odds were stacked against us
Besides, we already got more pts than seasons 21 and 22 which means we have great chance to climb up the ladder for better position..
Good on ya both batigoal and crico

Yeah, great job Crico! Especially after taking over an abandoned NT!
Tough break against Venezuela, but as Suromias said, we are doing well for points (and did finish top of the group!).
For the U17/U20, I try to aim for 2500+. If that can be maintained over 4 seasons, then it's 5000+ total, and a pretty strong bet to be in the top 48.

The U20s went down 1-0 to Ireland in their first game of the season. We had the stronger team, which is good to see, but played on lower intensity.
My aim in the first few games of the season is to try different players in different combinations, see what works, what doesn't.

Bad luck. Only their very high importance decided. The team seems to be good

Just looking around our group opponents:
France and Germany both had strong wins and appear destined to finish top of the group.
Ukraine only fielded nine players in a bad loss. It looks like they didn't adjust their roster in time for the game. But they have a fairly strong squad and will probably finish third or fourth.
Chinese Taipei didn't put their best team on the park but still beat the Saudi U17 side. Their squad appears similar in strength to Ukraine and they would be favoured to grab the other qualification spot.
Indonesia appear to have a side evenly matched with ours. We should be able to beat India but it's not a game we can take for granted. And Portugal still don't have any players selected. If that continues, it's a guaranteed three points but I won't count those chickens yet.
Looking at the standings, we are two points behind Chinese Taipei, six behind Ukraine and nine behind France and Germany. Realistically, the only way we will qualify is by beating Taipei. This isn't impossible. We are playing at home. We also need to make sure we beat Indonesia (home) and India (away). If we beat Taipei but they grab points against one of the top three teams (and we don't), our last qualifier is home to Ukraine, where we will also have a chance to get points.
It's going to be an interesting campaign!
