I have trained offense for wingers and centers and Defence for defense also Goal tending for GT however, I have also trained shooting and it's quite high.

1)Would it now be best to train secondaries like tech and aggression or would it be best for offense training for defense and defense for centers?

2)When you have scouted player you can only train up to the green figure? or can you go over that?

3)If you have trained defence in offense and offense in defence would your total score be added onto your overall defense and offense team page? or would it be just your defenders in defence and your wingers and centers just be added to the total?

I'll start with #2. the green number is the quality this determines how fast a player trains. i.e. a player with 99 quality will see larger improvements each day then a player with a 30 quality. There is no cap on how high a number can get. Aging is the only thing that can make a player stop improving.

1. I wouldn't bother training offense for defensemen and visa versa. it is more important to train the secondaries and make sure they are no less than 50% of the primary number for that position.

Eventually you may went better defensive forwards and visa versa, but I wouldn't make it a priority

3. Its my understanding that only defenseman affect the defensive ratings for a line. same as only forwards affect the offensive ratings for a line. By this, I mean the ratings you see in the pucks on the game summary screen.

However when it comes to actual play and game calculations they do have an impact.

Thanks for the quick replies but what I meant in question 3 was on the next game page with the yellow stars.

Gaffer as far as i can see the team rating (stars) is just the total of the number of pucks on the game summary. (Except if you play only three lines then it is multiplied by 4/3)

Sorry that is wrong, i'm getting confused. But the stars and the pucks do relate (somehow).

For goaltending it's: pucks = stars/5 (rounded down)
For lines its: sum of pucks = stars * 4/5 (4 lines) and sum of pucks = stars * 3/5 (3 lines)

Will this thursday be the last Youth pull of season 3, or the first youth pull of season 4?

If the former, would it work to delay the youth pull until the week after to have them as season 4 15 year olds?

If you pull them on season 4, they will have 16 years !

Don't go into your Sports Academy until next week and then view them. They will then be 15 year olds next season. If you view them, but don't pull them until next week, the players have been created so will be 16 next season.

This will be the last pull of season 3.

It does work to delay pulling them HOWEVER, the minute you go to the sports academy screen they are created and they will then age. To pull off the trick you CANNOT go to that screen at all until Monday after the season processing. Its not when they are pulled that matters its when they are created.
