Interesting results so far this year. In division 2 each league has a couple of teams in the top 8 that are surprises based on team strength. Almost anyone can win any game. Home teams have taken 54% of the possible points in the whole division.

Won my last game 5-3. After taking 4-0 lead after 1 period my intensity level dropped from low to very low based on tactics. Hung on and scored the empty net goal to win by 2. Going to change that tactic.

I think the changing to shooting have been the key contributor to the somewhat surprising results so far...

Things I have noticed so far this year. My goaltending strength dropped 15% from last year. Happened to us all i think. I still have the 6th highest in the league. My offense went up to offset the goaltending loss.

I used to take far more penalties then the opponent in almost every game. That has changed.

There seems to be less goals scored. Overall in division 11 there is about .3 goals less per game In division 11-3 we are scoring .8 goals less per game. To small a sample size to say its shooting. Part of the reason is last year we had 3 inactive teams and this year none.

I don't know how you managed to win that one. Home game for me, playing at low level and your team on very low. My team is also ranked something like 15 points better than yours... Put this one in the "lucky file" - based on numbers, I don't see how it can happen again.

Every game is so close in this division. 4 of 7 Raging Pigs games have gone to OT - of course, the Pigs have lost 3 of those.

I had said the same thing then 3 games today were decided by 5 goals or more.

Is it bad that my starting goalie has a primary of only 180, and my back up only 170? Both built to 2-1-1

Oh! Unbelievable loss! Blow the lead with 1:05 to play (no extra attacker) and then fail to even record a shot in OT before losing. Choke artists!!!

LOL @ Seth Johnson being named the day's all-star goalie. Branislav Chara gets no respect. No respect at all.

I know how you feel. Never seem to get all stars. Winning helps, especially scoring 3 goals in the third to come from behind and win 4-2 over the top team.

But to lose out to his losing opponent? Ask saint2e which goalie played better today and I think he'd agree that Chara was the man of the hour.
