It's so nice to finally be in a competitive league.

Again, thanks for the strong response to requests for player information. My assistant and I have almost finishing scouring Europe and will start adding roster spots tomorrow. If we have overlooked anyone on your team (i.e. we didn’t give you a letter of interest) please mail me and I will correct this oversight. I was mostly looking for 18 year old’s on my first mailing so I might have missed some good 17 year old’s. We will probably leave 6-8 roster spots for 16 year old’s. If you have a strong candidate for future teams please leave me a name and we will choose those spots based on GM response.

(Sharp words directed at the fans of the Dunnville Mudcats from President and GM Paul Roedb. Local residents were displeased to sell out last night's game against top club Stoney Creek Saints only for the team to ice a sub-par line up and play the entire game at very low, eventually losing the contest 1-10. The Mudcats are 0-2 in their last two starts and have been outscored 1-19 in the process after beginning the current campaign with a strong record.)

I got demoted and kinda expected to sail smoothly to a top two or three finish coming down to tier two.... Well after firing all my analytics guys I may be in a bit tougher than the out of work staff told me I'd be in. This is why old people don't trust these new age kids and their fancy gadgets!

Oh, I think you're still the favourite, but I for one will try to make your life a little less than easy down here. There's 3 or 4 others here who may try to do the same. Good luck.....but not too much.

I remember leaving III.3 with a sense of relief but it doesn't compare with how happy I am to get out of II.2. Easily the most competitive, annoying group to play in. Thanks for the time and here's hoping the only place we meet again is in the top division...!

It's a tough season awaiting for sure. I've been there. I find 2nd league more comfortable for now. Eventually we will all meet there soon-ish.

I find it takes some time to be more than a tweener between 1st and 2nd league. Next time I go up, I hope it's for good.

Yup. Tweener. But down here in Dunnville, we prefer blind, unrealistic ambition...

I learned my lesson in handball where I went up, relegated, went up, and then relegated over 4 consecutive years. I won 4 or less games each time in I.I. By the time all the year end OTR reductions were applied, my OTR was brutal!!! Tough to win games with a two digit OTR. So, I hid out in division II until I could be competitive in division I.

This is going to be my 2nd time up in I.1. I still don't have a much better team than I did last time, so I'm probably going to relegate again next season, but I'm at the point where I otherwise win 95% of my league games without trying in II.X, so uh... yeah.

Personally, I am going to miss that exhilaration of pounding on some hapless, league operated franchise. Now it is our turn. When the monster becomes the ant...
