We've just finished our training, players are well prepared for the upcoming matches. Our games will be played at the beautiful Westie Stadium in New South Wales and we are in Group 5 together with SLOVENIA, LATVIA and IRAN. The schedule is following:

Monday 13:00 (IST) - Slovenia
Tuesday 13:00 (IST) - Latvia
Wednesday 12:30 (IST) - Iran

Slovenia was missing last time at the World Cup thanks to our team, which eliminated them in the qualifiers and they are hungry for revenge. Strong team with average OR of TOP 11 players above 1600!

Latvia is the favorite of our group and one of the best teams in the world. They were in the quarterfinals last World Cup and they eliminated our team in the last game of the group stage. Last season they achieved 4th place at the PPM Challenge Cup in the highest A-category.

Iran qualified for the first time at the final tournament, when they claimed the 4th place before the 5th Czech republic, but they are by no means an easy opponent - their team is comparable with our.

We've already started the friendly matches with two wins over Switzerland (3:0 win by default and 2:0). The second game was played on very high importance because I tested there 17 players, so the energy loss is actually lower. Next opponents are: Ukraine, Russia, Croatia, Portugal and Japan. The strategy remain as it was presented in previous seasons.

Qualifying battles starts at 7th January against Peru. We are in group #6 together with Spain, Italy, Venezuela, Peru, Ireland, Egypt and Kazakhstan. Further analysis will be presented.

Have a look at our latest match report against Russia - we were 40 points weaker (I left some key players with good chemistry at the bench), one level lower importance, in 86' it was 0:2, shots on goal 0:8, than a penalty kick and one fast counter-attack and we drew 2:2... Why not!
