What happens in hockey when one tactic is countered by another tactic.
If I choose Counter-Attack and my opponent chooses Normal. Let's say that his tactic would counter my tactic. Would'nt it just cause more shots on goal? More scoring opportunity? He scored 9 goals on Tierrny. That doesn't make any sense.
If the only thing that matters in PPM is tactics, is a good goaltender important?
Tierney has to stop snorting cocaine...

I would hope counter tactics would not effect goalies someone else will have to answer though!
I think that goalies just have bad games.
My goalie put up 90+ SV% for the first half of the season, went two weeks with a 75% and now just got a 97%.
I think there are player slumps in this game, random "off-games" for goalies.

Oh, and generally choosing the proper counter-tactic causes the other team to get more penalties.
That's what I've noticed... More shots to the team that has "out-tactic'd" the other team, and more penalties to the team who has been "out-tactic'd"
Agreed with TheChad and saint.
Mikpj, I would attribute what happened to you, to chance.
This game allows us to increase our odds, but its not chess. Lets say since Noah is really good, to score on him its like rolling a 6 on a dice.
Most of the time people will get only a few goals, sometimes none! But on those crazzyyyyy days, someone rolls like 5 sixes in a row, and then a few more sixes later on....
It happens.
I lost 10-1 in a game where I was the better team. I know you can lose to worse teams, but 10-1? Should that ever happen? It is probably just a case of the most extreme result occurring.
