Tema: Notable C/L drops...

Just thought I'd toss together a thread where notable players dropped in C/L either expectantly or completely out of the blue.

On my team I had a tonne of 15 year old 6/6 drop to 5/6 (all but two). One of which was my 28M future franchise striker Michal Himper .

Also on the C/L drop notable list is my best player and Canada's 2nd best OR player Tyson Borden who dropped a season early and was in the same boat as fellow starters turning 18 Rubén Amar and Dwight Gartlan .

Ethan Purdon also dropped, but expectantly, to 3/6 making him the 2nd person on the team with a C/L lower than 5/6.

On other teams, Rob Frenette and Yves Todd both dropped at age 19 as expected but are on the best career path. Also to note, NKDJ's top striker, Brody Kenny , is now 4/6 at 19 years old.

Kieran Hartland still at 6/6! Essentially the rest of my team has fallen to 5/6. 2 fell to 4/6 but that's ok with me. As long as they're still 5/6 at 19 years old, I'm fine. =P

[soccer_team=30150] weren't hurt by the CL drop. 5 out of 19 of my 15 and 16 year olds dropped from 6 to 5. My strongest 15 and 16 year olds all stayed at 6. But the biggest surprise came in future National Teamer Philip Ardley , I thought he would drop to 4 but stayed at 5, his CL path goes like this 15(6), 16(5), 17(5), 18(5), 19(5).

That's the same for my Jacob Hodge (starting LCF). He'll be sold at season's end to get full price for him prior to 4/6 drop.

I haven't been hit hard either. My top guys are either 18y CL6 or 18y CL5 (but were still 17/6 so not too bad). Only disapointing drop is a Romanian acquisition dropping to CL5 at 17.

But I now only buy players with CL6 at 17 or 18. That way I'm not disappointed!

How'd everyone fare on the C/L drop front? I lost three 6/6 guys to 5/6 early (one at 18 and two at 17) and lost one 16 5/6 to 4/6. Outside of that, all my 50/50 5/6 guys stayed so pretty pleased.

Lost a bit to C/L. Most notably was Hilderly! That was sad. Hoped he would stay 5/6 at least. But Piper, my new China NT player and Hartland are all 5/6 at 19 years old so that's great news. Some 21 year old players fell to 4/6 but no biggie.

5 drops in total including one that had reached his C/L limit. The most disappointing is Spudil who dropped to 5/6 at 17.

Here's a head scratcher. Zejdlik was 5/6@ 21 & now at 26 he's a 2/6. Two seasons at 4/6 followed by two at 3/6. As an upcoming RFA, he'll be gone soon. I just won't get much for him.

[soccer_team=30150] will have 12 players @ 6/6, 14 @ 5/6, and 1 @ 4/6 once the team gets thinned out on Wednesday.

That is odd. Happened to a guy I have/had as well. However, liking your C/L distribution. I am all 5/6 or better (few 6/6 now) excluding one 4/6 (who just dropped at 17 and will be sold in some time) and my 3/6 former starting GK whom I keep due to his high exp and rating as well as low sale value.

A few drops here. Josef Brabec cl5 @ 17, Gordie Lemieux and Václav Vocetka cl5 @ 18. Drop to cl4: 2 guys at 21 and 1 at 22, I'd have liked seeing them at 5 one more season...

Regular or prospects summary: 12@cl6, 11@cl5, 4@cl4 and 2@cl2. I'll let them go on free agent market soon

I got sodomized. All my good youngsters that I had any hope for dropped. As always, my best 15 6/6 guy dropped. As did my best 16 6/6 player as did my best 17 6/6 player. I'm locking myself out of PPM soccer for 36 hours so I don't do something stupid.
