נושא: How to Win and reach top league

It is high time someone wrote a real guide on how to win in ppm basketball. I saw players, experts in all 4 sports, but while their other 3 sports team reach top league, their basketball teams (with triplefloors) linger in league 3, where we actually start.
Sorry if you thought this was the Book, the Answer you all look for but no, this is a request for someone successful to write the Guide, either here or elsewhere on the Net.

Without guidance, we can just suppose. What's the key? Good shooting and blocking? Its high impossible to find players with multi skills (200 in jump, aggro, speed, passing) added to the basic skills of shoot and block.
Is it tactics? The number of players in or out? So many variations seem to work for some people but fail wheh others try it that its hard to come to a conclusion.
I'm wondering how much tiredness from friendlies affect our later league performance.but still, we must play friendliez for the money. Without paying, we can't even play different startung lines for different games.
To end it, I usually end up in the top 4 of my division but lose the playoff without a chance.
We all just lose interest.

Basketball has a lot more options than other sports. The best thing I have found is to choose a tactic you like. Then train your team for that tactic. The hints are in the guide.

For example, very high speed for motion offense, high passing and tech for continuity offense, high shooting for set plays shooters, etc. These should be at 100% of your best stat, or close to it.

Another option is to look at the league I.1 winners and copy their ratios! But remember, PPM is a slow game, and it takes time to build your facilities enough to be strong enough (and have enough $) for the top.

But it you are patient, you'll get there!

Had my Joker-grin on this line. This is what I did when starting out on the game.

Ha! I did the same when I started. Dublin Kings and Bolam (both gone now, alas) were an inspiration.

Now we are both in I.1! (Though conference A seems a bit more competitive this season.) At least basketball moves faster than the other sports!

Yes, all true. Although I also had my eyes on Spratly Islands BC long time ago and up until now.

Basketball is more fun than the other sports, perhaps it has to do with the daily games, no?

Yes, I like the daily games in basketball. It is also nice that there are so many options! Top teams can play competitively with very different strategies.

In other sports the top teams and strategies are much more the same.
