Yeah, i thought about something similar to clear up dead teams. But even if they dont clear teams fast enough, id still like to see more teams actually fighting for something than just other than just building a team with no fear of relegation.

Agreed the system should be improved. I would like to see a structure more like real life. 1 D1, 1 D2, 1 D3 and so on.... 3 promote and 3 relegate each year + phasing down any dead teams like you mentioned

Then I should be in even though i lost the relegation/promotion matchup

Second Division 1

In short: My team has higher OTR than any relegated DII team. Only 3 teams have higher OTR than my team on DIII

9 dead teams stayed in Division II and if you are correct would be replaced by top DIII teams.

I'm pretty sure that they stopped with that sort of automatic promotion since I made that post, except for in a few countries that they will specify before next season. Hopefully it will occur in the U.S. to improve competition and reward teams in the lower divisions who stick with the game (notwithstanding the supposed financial effects of contracting to fewer U.S. leagues).

past 2 seasons i don't think it happened to USA, so i guess I am going to be stuck on D3.
