You're overthinking the tactics stuff man. Why on earth would you play the same tactics for the third straight game if you split the first two games? Assuming your opponent doesn't change tactics either, you're basically leaving it up to a coin flip by doing that. Maybe it's just a personal preference, but I probably would thrown everything on its head and gone with random tactics.

And as far as the save % goes, you played a 3-2-1. That's one of the more aggressive defenses. So yeah there's a decent expectation that your guys will hang your goalie out to dry as they take chances to create turnovers.

Regardless of all that, sure... maybe Bulls had a lucky game... but it's a 3 game series, and you lost twice. I wouldnt be so quick to blame bad luck for the series loss.

You had a tough run down the stretch. Learn from it. Study what your opponents did differently. Did they use A-B lineups during the season? Conserve energy? Get the frustration out of your head and do a logical analysis of what worked and what didn't. Do some mental pattern recognition and go from there next season.

I pick 3-2-1 because I thought it was more dynamic like the guide claims, I dont know how the defence works at all really and just assumed that was a smart choice, but what you say makes sense. But really? A 14% save on a goalie with 80 energy 60+ exp and 800+ OVR???

On the last game with home court advantage and tactic disadvantage I had a 65/35 chance of winning. So for the 2nd game where bulls had home court and tactic advantage lets say 55/45 of winning for me. That means that Bulls had a 17~% of winning BOTH matches against me.

That being said I'm used to being upset in/for the playoffs but that doesnt mean Im not going to be upset *pun alert* about it.

Today, of all days is just not my PPM day, as in basketball I had a 84% chance of winning but still lost to the angels of eden.

Like I said... you were overthinking the tactics. The fact that you didn't make a change because you were speculating that HE WOULD change INTO a disadvantageous tactical matchup is just silly. Why would he change to something that's WORSE against a tactics setup that you've used two games in a row? No manager is gonna do that.

The fact that you put enough weight on the probability that he would do such a thing leads me to believe you were way, way overthinking things. I mean you can get into infinite levels and derivations of game theory... and it's just not worth it because the majority of the times the simple solution is the best solution.

Yeah... my general this season has no bonuses, but is roughly the same as what I had last season with bonuses. I had roughly the same output as last season though (2nd place) so I'm not really too shocked.

My media sponsorship will net me about $80m more this season though. Which is cool.

Between that and ticket sales, I should be doing alright on keeping up with constant facility construction from here out.

I accepted a media worth double my previous. It will likely be more than my general if I don't get at least a 4 star
