What PPM don't seem to understand is that money is EVERYTHING in this game! Teams from small countries get less money, therefore are not as able to save and upgrade their facilities as fast. Or buy better players as fast, or...

The measurement method of numbers of teams per country is not good imho.
In real life for example Finland have 60.000 licensed players (info from Wikipedia). In Germany some sources said that there is more than 500.000 licensed players, so there is at least 8-9 times more clubs in Germany than in Finland and still Finland SM Liiga is stronger as well as their national team comparing to Germany.
Also I believe that Germany have more players than Slovakia and/or Czech Republic.
Also I found that there is more than 100.000 licensed players in France, and we can't compere their league to Finnish one.

All in all, it is much wiser to give money according to arithmetic mean of all team strengths in the league than number of teams in the country, as this number is not valid when comparing overall team strengths.

You are in a 4 level league structure. You have exactly the same sponsorship formula as the "big countries". If you can't compete, look for reasons elsewhere.

as for those in countries like Norway for instance, the difference is not that huge. I have said that before. Some people just make a big deal out of it, but it doesn't make it impossible for anyone to compete. On the other hand, the best teams from small countries have easier competition in their own league and cup. They can save more energy in domestic competitions and they also have an easier time of actually qualifying for the international competitions. Even though their money ceiling is a bit less, they can achieve that ceiling more frequently and with more ease than teams from big countries.

What do the #1 teams in the biggest leagues get for winning their season / playoffs compared to what a country like Australia does.

Germany have 29,000 registered hockey players. It's more than Slovakia, but less than Czech Republic. Not sure where you get the numbers from. But that's a really bad analogy anyway.

I know the system is not perfect and there may be countries with strong teams despite the fact that there is poor competitions, but there is no such thing as a perfect system. But putting a country like Norway with less than 100 teams on par with a country like Slovakia with several thousands of teams is just wrong.

Yes, but how big exactly? Not just sponsor money, but also the winnings for placing well in a league. I assume you have the upper and lower dollar amounts there somewhere, please feel free to share.

I got the info from Wikipedia (as already said), but whatever is there are much more proofs that numbers of teams in one country doesn't represent how strong are teams from that country.

Anyway, current system is really bad. Even if someone will get 1 penny less than the other just because he if from Swaziland and the other is from Germany will not make them even, and I really believe that such online managerial games wants for all users to be even at a start.

If they are not even and if this information come to users that wants to start his career at PPM or that they are just started, I believe that major % of them will leave it immediately as they will feel tricked, cheated not have the same conditions like other users from other countries. And I believe that this negative connotation is surely not something what PPM founders have on their minds.

I think about two solutions:
1. Merge some countries (but I see this solution pretty bad)
2. Push all the way National Team Captains to do their jobs. Their primary job than should be to acquire at least 3 playable divisions + 1 league in 4th division of each country that have their own league. At least, they get free PRO package and their main task should be to maintain some number of active teams in the respective countries and of course to grow the community. i believe that this solution will be very good for PPM, in terms of their dealing with economics there, at the end it's all about money.

I think the system is very good the way it is. The formula for calculating sponsorship money contains variables that any team in any league can influence.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't we have more Australian teams than Czech teams in the the Top 10?

LOL yep, it would appear that way.

you guys are looking only from rich, old and top20 team positions.. but how with new managers, with them, who started not on first day? If two guys start to play now in Slovakia and in Australia, are they in same positions? Why you wanna discriminate newcomer from bigest country? To get in III league in AUS and SVK is incomparably, and there need to be a diference in money prizes
