snack bars don't make money. they increase attendance only. as do restaurants. press boxes only increase your team's home field advantage.
the fan shop is probably what you're thinking about. it's the only thing that draws variable tangible income depending on the size of the crowds.
So basically... press box makes your players play better, and snack bars and restaurants feed people who attend your games. All 3 make your attendance numbers better. Then, the higher your attendance, the more money you stand to make from the fan shop.
If you have high attendance, there is functionally zero point to investing in the snack shop and restaurants. In fact, i still haven't maxed out my snack shops because i'm happy with my attendance numbers as they are.

that's exactly what happened. if you watch the game, and follow the actual play by play, 1 minute and 33 seconds into the game, it says "Kris Pickering commits a foul against Pete Shultis. The referee shows Kris Pickering a yellow card. Shawn Burch will have a 7m throw. SHAWN BURCH MISSES THE GOAL FROM A 7m THROW."
If they miss the goal, it counts as a shot attempt, but is not counted in a goalies save statistics (saves, save percentage, etc.).
If you want to prove this to yourself, check out the game log you linked here.
At the very top, it lists 2 different numbers in the summary for each team, S and SW. S=Shots ON GOAL. SW=Shots Wide. Scroll down to the goalie statistics. you'll notice that the shots counted in this section are ONLY the S. One team's S is the other team's SA. So [handball_team=39830] had 45 shots on goal... detroit rockin robins's goalie had 45 SA (shots against). But... if you go to the "players" section of the game report, and you add up all the total shots of the players from [handball_team=39830], you'll see that it adds up to 58. Not 45. That's because the player stats in this section include BOTH the Shots ON GOAL, AND the shots wide (45 + 13 = 58).
I hope this helps...

In the WCs, I can watch a replay of the Slovakia-Belarus U21 group 3 game, set at 6:30, but I cannot access either the Romania-Sweden or the USA-Germany games, though they're scheduled just a half hour later, in the same general location.
