William Jack is injured for 12 days. Even though he will miss only a friendly (thankfully) chances areI will call our reserve goalie this week.

the ones in consideration are listed in the site plus covington's goalie.

i'd like to remind all its my preference not to call more than 2 players from a team specially when players are at similar OR/qualities and that will weight on my decision.

I feel like I'm training my guys wrong when I see some of these players and huge FIP numbers.

I can see 3 of your players and I don't see anything wrong with them.

You train much more shooting and blocking than most but that is not a bad thing.

Goalies I considered were all at about the same current strength.

With Pascale being sold, he could end up in a team with good facilities and become the starter.

It will make it more difficult for a "3rd" goalie to pass him so my decision was to bring a younger goalie with top qualities.

And thus I called up Lloyd Russ

We used this friendly to gain chemistry to our starting offensive players. Pascalle also played more to gain more chemistry. A draw was a good result as we didnt use defensive players not until last 10 minutes of match.

As Portugal beat Czech by one goal and Iran beat Turkey by 2 goals we remain in 1st place.

Next weekend we face Iran.

Lloyd Russ also had a pretty start as backup goalkeeper in relief of William Jack .

In addition to that, Stacey Wells had a very good game today (for the first time in really several weeks). He finished with 10 goals in 13 shots. He was 7/10 from 9m.

Frederick Schneider on the flip side, had a game I'm sure he'd like to forget. He shot only 57% from 6m and was even 0/3 on his 7m attempts.

Lloyd was amazing. Knowing i set him to play very little i was "shocked" on how many consecutive saves he had. Knowing our starting goalies will be in camp, again, next week I am considering playing Lloyd as 2nd goalie next match.

Schneider and wells can disappear sometimes. Wish they were more consistent. I asked Wells manager to boost his shooting a bit and i thin it is paying off.

Im trying some alternatives but reality is that Tubbs is the most consistent 7m shooter. I might want to try Wells again now that he has more shooting.

Tomorrow we play Iran. They are not the weak horrible team they were last season.

I don't expect it to be easy. Lanky and I have a long email exchange session to agree with tactics. That shows we are taken Iran seriously.

up to today I was going to use Lloyd as 2nd goalie based on his great performance on his debut. However, unless I change my mind again, I will go safe with Pascalle.
