Unfortunate that. Well at least I will be ahead of you for the 3rd draft. Hey we switched to II.2 LOL
i think the draft motivates to promote and stay in the bottom of the league (if you cant do any better)
Top D2 means the same as 3rd in D1 financially speaking.
Any D1 should make more money than any D2 lower than 4th place.
But .... a top prospect, if you sell, makes much more than any difference. So promoting to D1 and drafting top prospect is not a bad idea.

i think they are really afraid of D1
afraid to join the league and the boards lol

Nobody is afraid, you guys suck honestly ( no offense ) it's just that we don't feel like it. Anyway, I showed up on the Czech discussion and there is this guy that whines every saturday and spams the whole discussion. So I asked him to not post about SA anymore. Suddenly out of nowhere Studenak ( great manager ) started telling me how easy it must be to play in US. They call our league the Banana leagues. C'mon guys. We honestly suck. Lets have an American team win the Champions league!!
Whoa Whoa Whoa... you guys need to go back to your respective homes. We don't need you guys cluttering up our nice clean empty boards here in II.2!

I may leave as long as you give me a great explanation why Lehigh is only in 7th place and barely made the playoffs.
saving energy to beat you?
saving energy to beat you?
LOL, sounds like a great explanation to me? I don't even understand how I started the season as a powerhouse, 1/2 through the season couldn't beat a team to save my life, and now back 3rd place. I guess I should pay closer attention to others importance to games they play because except for the occasional change in tactics, I'm consistent.
Fortunately for me, he's got to get past Badel before he plays me
erratic emus started very bad and then was the best team on second half, currently in 4th.
i usually pay attention on everything: tactics, players, intensity
problem is that even though i get to understand the team, I am never so sure on the best way to counter.
Not sure if i will ever understand ppm handball black box.

Of course, I type out a message and the site goes under "maintenance".
I never realized he was I.1. Been playing him for the past 2 weeks thinking he was just another II level team. Goes to show how much I pay attention!
I try to look at tactics and intensity but players I've yet to figure out what to look for and how to counter it. Right now, I don't have the time and just have to pray on the fact I have a solid team (less goalies). I'm sure one of these days when everyone gets it and I'm in the dark, I'll invest more time (or quit).

Dang you, now I'm looking at potential playoff spots and seeing it's not an easy path regardless of where I am seeded or who I face in the Top 8. This was supposed to be my year to jump to I.1

well... there's 2 ways to look at it.
1) division I.1 has a lot more teams with very advanced facilities... so there's going to be a lot more competition for the best prospects than you'll see in division 2 or 3. So from that standpoint, it's probably better to be in division 2.
2) on the other hand, they've said that players drafted in higher leagues will have higher average ORs (although qualities are still random, regardless of league level). So that advantage goes to division 1.
So basically, you'll likely be able to get much better QUALITY of players in the lower leagues, but it might take you a while to train them to the point where they're better than the guys the division 1 teams are drafting.
That's my take on things. Really six this way, half dozen the other if you ask me.

LOL. I always think it's kind of funny how people brag about how much time they've spent doing something that should be just a casual past time.
I mean seriously, I've run into gamers that scoff and call you a "noob" if you've invested less than 500 hours in mastering a game. I don't know about you all, but if I've invested 500+ hours in any game, all I can think about is how much of my life I've wasted. I certainly don't consider it something to brag about.
So they can call American divisions Banana leagues for all I care. I think it's funny. Because while they're obsessing or complaining about their fake ppm team, I'm out with my girlfriend in the Boston Commons on a beautiful spring day.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love for US teams to do better in ppm's international competitions. But I won't lose sleep over it if they don't.
