The good news first - Russia lost, giving us the opportunity to claim top spot!
The other good news is Australia was leading 2-1 halfway thru the 2nd half!!!

Unbelievable, I think with that loss, we go from potential 1st.... to 6th out of 7! But only 2 points behind first 
That group is really close together in points!

Haven't had time to review the team roster yet for next season...so fielding current team.
PPM Challenge has seen us draw with Macedonia and last night draw with Canada... and to makes things interesting every match so far in the group has been a draw - we have a habit of getting in close groups this season.
So we are both equal first and equal last in the group... our final pool match is against Scotland, and thus a win should see us through to the play-offs. Another draw, I don’t know what will happen!

A 1-0 win over Scotland sees us qualify top of our group, as the other teams draw again.
Next playoff match is our friends again Venezuela - who we were very lucky to win 1-0 in recent the World Cup qualifiers.
