Anyone here from BC/Vancouver who knows how good the telus network is out there? I currently have a koodo phone (Telus). I may get a Telus smart phone if their network is good there, if not I'll have to find another carrier.
Please let me know. Thanks

All i know is blackberries and motorola phones pick up the best signal.
I'd stay away from services such as Public Mobile, and Mobilicity. I work at a cellphone warranty and refurbishing factory, and we recieve alot of phones sent back with complaints of bad reception.

Doesn't cell reception depend more on the provider than the phone I use?
I don't plan on using public mobile or mobilicity until they get a better network. I live in the GTA currently and they don't even cover my area yet.

I know my gf uses telus and lives in Vancouver, has no problem with the network there. It is definitely better coverage that Rogers in Vancouver; I don't know if it's any better than Bell though.
K, thanks. I didn't want to get locked into a contract because I tend to change my plan, and sometimes move, a little more often than I should. Looks like I'm going to be buying a new smart phone for my birthday.
