Hmmm i'm in 2 minds about that.
With the number of players that arrive from the SA each season, it's only natural to often sell more than 10 players.
I do think that they need to find a way to track those who mass sell players for profit and punish them.

Then maybe force teams to keep players for a whole season instead of 50 days. Or sell 15 players with no penalty and then +5% tax per additional player. Increase salary penalty for having more tha. 30 or 40 players depending on sport. Better inform newbies why balanced players are much better. And so on...
Yeah I have heard that reasoning before and think it's invalid. Or at most only justify a tax around 0,5-1%. Preferably no tax.
You dont have to make a decision with a 5% tax, because anything other than a starting price drastically lower than the players value is not smart.
- When you price a player low, you try to get as much attention as possible.
- When you price it high, you try to find the few managers who look for this exact player.
Either possibility can give the highest price depending on variables. The last one isn't currently a profitable choice. If you choose a middleground you won't get the same attention as the first choice.
To me it seems like managers who are no good at valuing players, want to remove the skill in the selling aspect of this. (not trying to provoke, but that's the consequence)
And the rules already cover selling players way above their value. This can and will happen regardless of the tax. It may happen slightly more without the tax, but we're talking about an extremely small number of times. (My credentials in this aspect is 4 years as GM in a similar game).

I'm a beginner in this game and I don't know the value of the players on the transfer list. So I suggest that every player have a page 'Transfers compare'. On that page appear similar recent transfers (of players with the same or almost the same skills) and the sum of transfer.
What do you this about this?

Its also easy to follow market prices!
For that you can also see market prices from latest transfers.

Some advice: if you're not sure, don't bid (yet)

Ok. It's easy to follow market prices if you have time
. It would be a lot easier to press a button and see similar transfers.
Anyway, a new suggestion. Players have only years. If you register a team and end of the season your players will have their birthday soon, and you will be disadvantaged. So what if players will have age + days. When you register youre players will have 0 days.
When a player has 112, after the daily update his age will grow by one.

Does 112 days and season makedifference?
It sees like you have played hatrick?
This game is better! you dont get all so easy!

On the whole "lets punish team x for having too many players" comments...
I have this to say..
Quite simply put a cap on the amount of players a manager can have in a team at any one time.
Ice Hockey, it could be set at having 2 full teams worth of players.
44 players - Max!
And also increase the time foreign players must remain at their new club before being shipped out.
Move it from 50 days to say, 80 days.
Or an entire season.
Alternatively, a cap could be placed on the amount of foreign signings in one season per team.
Maximum 10/15/20.
Coupled with a longer time before selling said players.
There would be no need to change the tax system whatsoever.

How about a little less PRO Pack Only things,
I mean honestly why can't I use Analysis, or see my OTR Progress, or use Automatic Opponent friendly search or even watch away games? In another game, a pro pack similarity only affected amount of friendlies you can max play and some customization features, Now I can't even have a logo, jersey or a nationality? seriously come on.
Or at least give 15 or something free credits every season/month so we can have a temporary PRO pack or save up for a longer one? Please?

Why? There are those of us who pay money to keep this game online. Do you think it pays for itself? Why should they give away free credits when there are those of us who pay regularly to get those credits?
I agree with Trueblue. This is a great game and provides great value. You pay for iPhone games, XBox games, and so on... Nothing is free in life! At least you can still enjoy PPM wIthout PRO pack and it doesn't penalize you. Why complain then?
You can easily earn free credits through referrals! You can earn 30 credits max per just one person.
Asalary cap would solve the problem. If teams were limited in the amount of player salary that they coudl have then they woudl be limited in the number of superstars on a team and the teams woudl have to be more balanced.
