There are the most managers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. I can say with certainty that it is a result of probabilities and not skewing the distribution. It would be nice if they skewed it in the favour of some of us little guys

two teams have team strength 16. they are on top. then there are many teams on 15. Slovaks are displayed first because their team IDs are the smallest. If 2 teams are tied, they are sorted by ID. That's why you see it this way. later on, when there will be bigger differences, you will see others breaking in.
anyway, we are going to change it slightly so that they are sorted by their precise strength and not by the rounded number.

8 of 10 overall team ratings are Slovakian. Statistical anomally. Could be explained if they are already playing National Cup games.
you hit the nail on the head with that last sentence.
2 questions actually.
first i'd like to know whether there is a meaning behing the ratings players receive. Can they be compared with the ratings the opponent's players get? Can we use them to analyze things? As in, see their progress? Or are they presentational only?
my second question is about the statistik at the players page. It says 'all star' and '3star' at the end. How can players receive these? In play-offs only?

Is there a play off in soccer game ?
In my opinion those statistics about 'all star' and '3 star' will be replaced with Man of the Match and maybe Team of the Day (see today soccer news).

1. yes you can compare and analyze based on these ratings.
2. these two columns will be replaced with the Man of the Match and Team of the Day selections once those are implemented.

Vlady, u mean that a player will have same rating in a game if he'll play against a No Name or against a strong team ?
regarding the answer to my first question, i am quite surprised.
I lost yesterday with ratings of 5 and higher. My opponent got just one 5 rating and the rest lower. My players performed better than his players, ratingwise, yet i lost 1-3.
I fear that the high-normal-low match attitude has too much influence on the outcome of the game.

the biggest part of that rating is the actual strength of that player on the given position. you can play well in a match and still end up losing. thats soccer.
Ok, good to know.
So when the player goes from a 3 rating to a 6 rating, due to switching a position, i can assume the change was a good one.

question. Today I of course played with some substitutes. I noticed that my two substitutes got really low ratings (both had 2). Is that simply because they were horrible substitutes for that position or because the rating assumes the playes plays the entire match?
Also, how does the sazonal energy works with sub players and those that were replaced during the match?
that is not a big mistery to me I would say. Just look at the overview of players. Players that were substituted loose a little less energy and substitutes loose only a little for the time they played.
..... unless you were asking for the exact calculation ... I wouldn't know that.

They likely didn't play enough to get the rating up. But I'm not sure. The devs can perhaps comment when they get in tomorrow.
