Asunto: Great... Now the injuries come...

Has anyone else gotten a rash of injuries lately?

I spent pretty much the entire year with a full lineup. I think only one of my top 12 guys missed time, and he only missed like 4-5 games.

Now, with the playoffs right around the corner, I've got 2 guys (including one of my 2 starting goalies) out for a combined 22 days.

I seem to recall something similar happening last season as well (though I was lucky enough to not have my starters hit). If it is a scheduled thing... it's pretty annoying.

i had major one last season in the playoffs., it was tough. Team USA had lost two goalies!!! Luckly for him, he had more than 2.

I was going to comment about this in my league forum, because there was only 2 injuries in the entire league recently and I thought to myself, "Hmm, I bet there is going to be a bunch of injuries come playoffs!"

yeah... I'm just hoping that now that I have 2 long term ones, I'll be good through the playoffs without getting anymore.

The goalie loss is pretty rough for me, but luckily I have some serviceable backups and he'll be back in time for the finals.

I was quite happy to see the #2 seed's Top goalie go down for injury. I have still have 3 of the top 5 goalies. My 4th goalie to be fair would also be top 5. I just did not have time to get him any Chem. I was trying to nail down 3 goalie prizes.

I have real good energy, and my back ups should be ok if called on to do their duty!!

Just lost my #1 pivot for 9 days.

lost my offensive LB and defensive LB both to long term injuries.
