ditto...there is just so much that doesn't tell you anything about how things work together...
yeah, it's kind of fun that they don't just spell out the magical attribute mix like they did in Hockey, it just takes time and patience to try and figure them out, so i'm just trying to avoid relegation while I do that
Well it is kind of spelled out, but its a bit more complex this time around. Primaries and secondaries have been revealed in tables or text, but there are too many attys that make up a positional player. So, its probably better to narrow it down to fewer attys for each type of player at a position and train to those.
Also, the players seem to be created in such a way that it will take a bit to get them into shape.

For sure, it seems like it will take a lot more to get a player going. I have some ideas of what they expect for each player, just trying to think of a ration/system that is rational
Of course at this early stage i'm just training primary until my HR and Training facilities get to a point to be any good. I was training my players completely wrong for 2 seasons in Hockey and recovered so it could be worse

Training primary is the right way to go early on anyways. The primaries are even close to 2:1:1, 4:3:2, 5:3:2 or whatever ratio people are aiming at.
yeah. i'm aiming for 2-1-1 right now. but the focus is the primaries. there is no choice given the levels.

Looks like either a 6-4-2-1 or 6-3-2-1 for training attributes. As for formations, the only evidence you can use is the possession per each part of the field, if possession is abnormally low, put another player in the area to help out. I try to put players in the most natural position possible.
Maybe even 5-3-2-1. As far as formations, until they give us tactics of some sort for each position its isn't going to make sense.
Why should they need to give us preset formations to use. What is unique to this game, there is a lot of freedom in to making formations. You could have 4 left backs if you feel like it, whatever gets the greatest production from your team. My formations are very strange but very efficient in making and stopping shots.[soccer_team=id]
