I believe that they "reorganized" divisions at the end of season 2 and eliminated division IV.
I doubt division IV will ever have any significance again though.
I'd imagine that by season 6 or so, handball will be a 2 division sport (similar to hockey) where division III is simply an OTR feeding ground (where borderline division II teams go for a season to rebuild their OTR and then advance back up for the competition).

Looks like people will be more reluctant to share their numbers if they accept the incentive-laden general offers.
It was a pretty natural result. Who would want to tell people that their bonus kicks in when they're ranked 4th place, or after they win games? That just gives teams added incentive to play them harder to keep them from getting their bonuses.
As long as most bonus contracts require at least average results in order to match the standard deals, you'll have people that are much tighter lipped about where their money is coming from.
Sad in a way, because you really don't get any idea of what people in other divisions are making by comparison.

well, Outsider never shared his info, so no surprise there. Btw, dont necessarily think he has to.
In my case Im not sure if i will share this year. I will say my rejected 2 stars offers were much better than this season 4-5 stars.
Also, it is very possible that i will have the highest pay in USA. If not, it will be very close to 1st.
And if Outsider will earn 14M/week on general or so then he must have chosen to finish 1st or else he may be at the 12M/week range. 13M/week at the very best.
Unless of course his 14M/week range also considers his media deal since he should be earning 1 donuts per week.

Eh, I'll go ahead and share. If people play me harder to keep my away from my little bonus, that's cool.
Normal offer: 2*, 172 mil.
Win bonus: 4*, 150 mil. 1.1 mil bonus per win.
Placement bonus: 5*, 174 mil. 5 mil bonus for 7th place. 8+ mil for 1st.
Accepted the placement bonus for 7th place. It should be well within my reach, and if not, I'm really not losing money from it.

your placement bonus was pretty much the same than mine but i took the 4 stars normal offer of 205M
I was planing to do a placement but thought the general one was good enough that would not need any risk.
granted my placement offers were both 2 stars. if they were 5 id have taken it.

btw, i dont think one would be motivated to beat a specific player for them not to make the bonus. problem is if 9 to 10 teams chose a placement then it would be "interesting"
lol... i probably would. If I were playing a team that was borderline on their ranking for their bonus, I would absolutely play them harder to keep them from getting the extra $5M or whatever.
I'm not particularly proud of it, but if I could have somehow sabotaged the $$$ WasUpNerd was getting from selling all of his players on the market this year, I probably would have done that too haha.
What can I say? I'm pursuing a long-term income strategy. The less money other teams have, the better my strategy works out for me.

I do agree that the "ranking bonus" contracts will make things a little bit more interesting in division 1 (where there's no where to advance), but for the lower leagues, I tend to think the emphasis will still be advancing to the next higher league (even if that means not hitting every bonus through the regular season).
Looks like i have the highest sponsorship deal with general. Maybe only Emus will get more than me, since he won the P.O.
So 1 triple stand gives you 700k per week. Not great.
The ticket sales and media sponsor are worth more to me than the 10 or so extra OR I could have gotten, and I still plan to continue upgrading my facilities to some extent.
I'm not going to do much better if I put everything into my facilities, at least not unless I reach at least level 14 and take advantage of it for a few seasons, assuming few other teams bother to upgrade the training facilities that high so soon. I also haven't had many players good enough to justify a focus on training.

mumbles and slaps himself. Day 1 2 star offer, day 2 1 star offer. Day 3 an even worse 1 star offer, had to accpet. It is better then my last, but underwhelming.
The other 2 options I am not sure I like them after just getting promoted.
