Fair enough. But I'm not complaining because it's happening to me. A guy gets less than 0.3 yellow cards per game and gets suspended around the NC final time? You should get a clean slate 5 games in - that's how it works in the major tournies in real life.
That's how it works in RL also. Well, in RL player can provide himself with another YC and gets suspended before decisive matches

Yes, they really are and maybe they will in ppm also. But we're not talking about WC here

A suggestion to fix the forum issue.
Make it so regular people can't reply to it, only Mods. This will force people to use other threads if they want open discussion about something.
Alternatively, when threads go off topic, can you MOVE the posts to a more relevant thread, not just delete them draconian style?
You will need a far better forum system to do this of course, but that IMO is a much needed change anyway.

Instead of reinventing the whell, why not simply www.simplemachines.org , www.vbulletin.com , www.phpbb.com or an equivalent? Plus if it could be on forum.powerplaymanager.com and be available during match calculations, that would be fantastic...

vbulletin is the best forum software around. Fully secure and incredible support. Have used it a number of times in the past as a forum admin.
It's been suggested in the past. I think the vast majority of managers either mute their speakers or turn it off... it's more annoying than anything else.
In my opinion it should be OFF by default or a setting where you can decide if you want it on or off when you enter live.

I strongly suggest that PPM now do the server change until after the soccer regular season ends. Unless you intend to simply pause the season while it's offline.
However, if there are DNS replication issues around the world and people lose games because they're not able to access the site, it's going to be a major error on PPM part that would have caused it.

There is quite simple way to overcome DNS replicaton problems. PPM team should publish new IP address(es) of their servers and users with problems could enter these adresses to their system hosts file and everything should work fine.
Good point. Actually just loading the site directly off the IP would work also. That may be a fix, assuming PPM would willingly publish the IP in a news article.
