keep in mind that if you strangle the lower divisions, it will be harder to move up also increasing the gap between good teams and not so good.
This will eventually lead to turning new managers away because it's just too damn hard.
This is a business as well as a game, and to make it profitable, thus enabling it's continuous development, it needs to keep all managers happy, good managers will always rise to the top, even if the gains were equal in all divisions.

Exactly. For many of us, competing at the top has more value than the OTR gain. That may sound stupid, but it's simply a competitive nature of wanting to be up there with the best.
How about changing the ranking system for the NC. As as reward for being in League 1 the 20 teams there get the first 20 postions in ranking based on OTR. Then the Div II Div III and so on. That can at least be a reward to the non sandbaggers and make it tougher on the sandbaggers since they would have to face a tougher oppenent sooner then later in the tournament.
sorry, but your post was promoting another game which is against the rules. I see your points, but it would require a completely new engine for that. maybe something that will be done some day, but not just yet.
But if a team promoted from III division and has a rating better than some teams from I division why not giving him a chance
I mean new teams that are not stayng in lower division just for OTR

But that is my point why should the person who fought to make it to league 1 "the cream of the crop" be punished for working hard and the people who are exploiting the game get rewarded by sandbagging and get more advantages for not trying. In a sense your person just got ranked higher then every Div III team even though his OTR is lower, so when they advance to Div II they will be ranked again even higher regardless of OTR. This whole process make Div ranking more important then OTR. OTR is just the only tie breaker our there the PPM has based on my suggestion.
It really pisses me off when I see teams dominate there league, lose 1 match all season the some how they manage only 2nd or even 3rd at best, and stay down and dominate for another year and again don't promote. Tell me rolionline where is the fairness to the person who busted there A$$ to get to league 1 but has 1/2 the OTR as the sandbaggers of PPM & get to be ranked lower and have a higher chance to face a harder oppenent in the NC tournament. Being in Div I should have some advantage and I dont see this suggestion being completely unfair.
The sandbaggers is who I'm personally after & I make it a point to try and call them our when I find them. Perosnally if you sandbag you should be banned. Now dont ask me what the rules should state to be considered a sandbagger but lets be honest after 2-3 seasons for some Div II teams you know who they are, thats how this topic got started to begin with, others have noticed them!

I mean the teams that are tryng to promote not the teams that are stayng in same divison for years
Usually a team placed 1-8 in second division its at the same value as a team placed 16-22 in first division or even better and thats logic but in your idea its not having chanches
The OTR need to be changed
Rating gain to be diferent per division in a manner that a top 5 team from second division can have an OTR maximally equal with a 16-22 placed team from first division
And in the cup to use this rating
In the cup rating gain to be asimilated as a league game from the highest team in league
I hope you understand
I dont want that sandbagers but i dont want because of this to be anulated the chances of teams that are tryng to promote

also, one very important thing happened with this new "energy loss system":
those teams in 2nd divisions are strong enough to compete in I.1 leagues, but as we know they do not want. Teams in I.1 league have to play more LOW or NORMAL because of more competition there, and those teams in I.1 leagues will loose much more energy through season, while those teams in II leagues that loose 2 out of 38 games, can play VERY LOW all season long... And at the end of season, in final rounds of national cup (QF, SF, 3rd place match, final) - those teams from II league will have big energy advantage over teams in I.1 league for sure...

II leagues: 38 games on very low: 3,8 loss... and they can afford that...
I leagues: 38 games on low: 9,8 loss... and LOW is probably minimum we in I leagues can afford to be in chase for playoff.
So basically after regular minimum difference would be around 5-6 in energy, in moment of final 2-3 weeks in NC: it would be 4,5-5,0. It is big advantage... Not sure if this new energy system (very low-low-normal-high-very high) is good for game, it is one more thing that gives those II division teams small advantage...

Here's a suggestion to make life easier and save bandwith.
Merge the Staff page and the Education Center page into the same thing.
Honestly, the only real difference is that the Education Center tells me my training gain and what is being trained. I don't think we need a distinct page just for that. Add it to the tables.

Well said. In fact in my experience most Div 1 teams will play on average about 15% - 20% of league games on normal, so that's roughly 7 or 8 on normal and the rest on low.
So the energy loss is even greater than you suggest.
