alright guys. we will try to think of something that could improve the system. but it's not an easy task. you have to realize that the strength of the competition in a country does have to be a factor in sponsor offers. it's not the same being the best in a country with 3000 active teams and in a country with 300 active teams. I think you can understand that. people from the big countries say the exact opposite to what you are saying. they say the managers from small countries have it too easy and they want us to make it more difficult for them. it's a tough situation and it's impossible to make everyone happy.

Maybe the average team strength (team stars) could be the factor that determines how good the competition is? Compare those to certain country (like Slovakia) and use the different as a factor that influences sponsor offers.

In before people complain that when a strong team in a small country quits the game it will ruin that league's avarage team strenght. But yeah... that would make it easier for countries like czech and slovakia as if one strong team quits the game another would happily take their place. In small countries there might not be anyone even close to that streght to replace the dead team.

Of course we understand that part - basic game theory.

Also the thought behind how you built the game.

It’s been working so far, but I’m afraid you have to adjust the game to the reality.

That is to take care of the users you have instead of putting the faults in the game back to the users (who have to be active & try to get new users). I agree with the thought, but if you’ve reached an equilibrium state you might have to do something before it’s too late.

I’d say with how it’s built you’d lose top team after top team. Or that they all would stop buying credits. It’s a business & since it’s a global game I’m afraid you have to take the big mass into consideration.

As a golf player I don’t like the handicap system. I’m not into the slope system, but I realize that the sport needs it.

Let’s say you listen more to users from countries with a considerable amount of active teams. This seems reasonable. But – for instance – what if you have a top-team that normally would have no problem in keeping a player all of a sudden gets offers he can’t match?

On the other hand – if you listen more to users from countries with a considerable amount of less active teams. It could be unfair if they’d get handed PPM-chips for nothing. So what to do?

In a smaller PPM-country I’d keep the main structure for the big mass, but I’d compensate the top teams who play regularly on an international level.
That would make the game more segregated in a specific country, but perhaps it's a compromise you have to live with.

But did good teams in smaller countrys get easier OTR ?

When PPM create more OTR for a win against a good team and lower OTR for a win against a weaker opponent they maybe solve the problem ?

In big countrys they play much more NC matches and even if they not get so much OTR there... its still more than a trainingmatch.

Surely it "ruins" the team strength but also the competition gets lower. The question is whether the sponsor deals and competition should go hand-in-hand and if so that what extend?

If the average team strength of Swedish I.1 is 164 and Slovakian I.1 has 185, what should be the sponsor difference between the 230 rated Swedish champion and 230 rated Slovakian champion? 10%, 5% or no difference at all?

They get about the same OTR but they have much better chance to get a higher place in league standings and a place in CL/CWC which both brings them extra money compared to teams that play in big leagues and are about as good as them.

To be honest I don't see big problems in the current system, but the latter example where there is 230 rated Swedish and 230 rated Slovakian champions; Imo they deserve equal sponsors, but the fact that Slovakian champion had tougher league to compete in he should get little bit more, and most probably he will get because he fought vs. tougher opponents and thus gained more OTR from the wins?

Problem would be if the Swedish champion had it easy and won every match and would gain even more OTR in that season compared to the Slovakian champion. I don't know... I don't like the idea of tough countries generating more money than others, but it's kinda hard to make the system equal to everyone. Rather favour those who actually fight hard than those who "have it easier".

Surely OTR should also be a factor in offers, I gave my example assuming that they both had the same.

I agree that a team in more difficult league should get more with the same league position, facilities and OTR than a team in easier league. The problem is how to determine which league is more difficult? And also how big the the difference in sponsors should be?

At the moment it seems that Sweden has more difficult league than many countries with four league levels but despite that, their best teams get less than equal teams in easier leagues of bigger countries.

I am not sure what you try too say, but my team lost 10N/week because of the chanse.

I don't see an issue if the numbers in leagues are actually growing, however have seen a decline in numbers in smaller leagues like Australia lately unfortunately. Is there less Marketing going on?

Average team strength for each league (Taking the top 11 most skilled players per team, for example), with upper and lower limits of money given for each division (levels).

In this way, you can set a kind of League Hardness no matter the levels each country has.

I say that the competitive bonus based on league level could be as follows:
1 or 2 league levels = A
3 or 4 league levels = B
5+ league levels = C

Where C > B > A. By lumping 3 and 4 together teams won't have a drop when they go from 4 league levels to 3. Countries would only feel the pinch after dropping to the ~100 teams mark (if we're talking hockey) and would only get a bonus over most countries when they exceed ~1700 teams.

Vlady said they'll think about possible improvements to system so I wouldn't yet give up. Let's hope they'll get something good for next season.
