He hasn't sold him. He's 829, 17, and 4/6 now
Of course he is 4/6. Gah! The funny thing is he is as good as my 17 6/6 goalie. Like I said, age is more important than C/L. He'll stay 4/6 until 20 and can be sold for a fortune then.
Yeah, he's gonna be worth a lot. Do you think he has any chance of getting on a national team?
Perhaps, but most likely U18 and U20, not senior due to C/L path.
Early in the season is the time to sell. His OR is love but teams can turn him into 500 OR by season's end. Worth a shot I suppose.
I agree. My TF isn't good enough to support player development yet. So he is on the market!
Sweet thanks! I had few 4 or 5 seasons ago that I never should have kept, ruined good players haha. Have learned since.
So after reading all that I've decided I've ruined about a dozen players by now. I figured it just wasnt really worth selling at low OR's. For example Jesse MacDonnell he's 96/93/95/95 but he was a 248 OR when I got him, so I kept him hoping that I could get a good return for him in a few seasons. Am I better off just sending him to the market?
The part that he is 16 5/6 is really going to hurt his value.
16, 5/5, and sub 300 means he's not going to go for much.
I've picked up some players similar to him for under a mill up to 4 mil (for a goalie with 95% EQ)

Your facilities are not good enough to turn this player into a valuable one. As Boba said, players underdeveloped, even with good Qs, aren't going to fetch a lot of money. And even if you keep him, it won't change anything. A 18yo, 5/6, 500 player isn't interesting at all for the best teams out there.
I know with his OR and the whole 5/6 thing he'd go for maybe a few hundred thousand, which is why I elected to keep him, I was planning on keeping till he was 20, at that point he should be at a high enough OR to be worth something.
