Anyone else have a "semi-decent" player (OR wise that is) with a shooting quality of 1? Besides me....
PPM, you trollin me?

is 8 ok? yeah i know, its 8x better so maybe not a good comparison. Now i feel better. I thought he had crap shooting quality. Now i feel like he is a solid player.
How do you know?
I've only scouted 1 player so far. GOD scouting is sooooo slow early on.

Yep, i've only scouted one as well. His OR is good enough to play him, but training him, HA! He's history asap.
Scouting may take forever but if you change the attribute to be trained every day you will have a great idea of real quality
Agreed. I've already done that. But it's annoying.
Also, there's no way to account for time played (ie. how tired the players are when they practice each attribute), the randomness of practice (there is some), and CL differences.
For example... my 15 year olds train almost double (in every stat) what my older players do. Is that because they have double the quality? No... it's because their CL is better, and they are not playing as much.
Scouting is still a necessity. You can get a "general" idea of what the quality of a player is by changing practice, but because of all the unknowns/random factors, I wouldn't say that gives you a "great" idea of quality.

Don't forget that age plays a factor in training independent of CL.
didn't know that. but yeah, that's yet another factor.
I mean you can tell if one of your players sucks if he doesn't practice worth a damn, and you can even get a feel for what their "true position" is based on the practice.
But it's hard to get an idea of actual quality or player value using only this method.

I got a couple. Have 2/3s of my team with critical attributes in the single digits.
When my high practice gain is .21 annd my bad attribute guys are.04 or .05, even this dumb electrician can figure the unscouted Q is pretty close.
