Titel: Draft

Draft is crap again. Not worth the credits I dumped into it. I'm done with it...

It's not worth it. The best guy i pulled is the 4th round guy who was not even scouted. Now I hope that he turns out as good as he looks.

Is there a way to see what the player was scouted as now that we are post-draft?

If anyone picked up a player that turned out good (maybe 350+ OR with ~80+ EQ and good CL as of today), please upload the player to: ppmdb.bulls4ever.com

Last draft I selected an A prospect and he was garbage due to low potential on critical aspects of his qualities. I only keep him around to fill any injuries to my b squad. This draft I got 5 players and every one was complete garbage as well. The draft just seems to be a waste of time. Rather just pull my players like always, instead of scouting everyday to end up with trash.

yeah, but imagine if everybody were happy? it would be like inflation ... players would have no value as everybody have what they want/need.

I think the garbage is the fact that even if i spend my time to scout players if i don't make the draft then it is pointless and waste of effort.

they should at least allow to sort by potential for free.

pro managers would have the advantage of placing the players at specific order (like now)

I landed a couple players that'll likely be kept. It is very much like the SA - luck driven - but with the draft at least you can control your position and C/L choice. And, over time, if you put the time in you will come out ahead in the long run.

I landed an A+ with the 13th pick. People didn't bother being online or scouting everyday or ranking players. That's why I landed that player.

and that is why draft may fail. what is even the point scouting if i am not a pro and know i cant make the draft, or just don't want to spend my weekend on draft?

I do like the draft as it gives something else to do, but cant agree that unless one pay, one must be online to draft players one scouted.

yes, but this game is becoming either pay to win or pay to play. It just depend on the way you see... No more free rides ... you pretty much agreed with it

I am looking at it as pay to play. reason why i will drop hockey and likely soccer.

The current model wont allow to "ride" free with eventual pro (7 days) along the way as i was doing.

I was playing hockey and soccer casual and there is no more room to be casual anymore.

and to be clear: I dont have issue with pay to play games or even subscription games. Just have issues with they are mixed in the same game as it causes disadvantages to some. I like to play for a good challenge.

I disagree. There are definite pay to win and pay to play games out there. The draft is the closest PPM has come to that, sure, but it is a long way from how most other sites operate.

It was a further cry when there were only 4 drafts per season. Now that half the season your prospects come from drafts, it's going to penalize non-Pro if they can't be online.
