probably because other teams are playing low or very low. I am very sure nomination takes in consideration the intensity of play.
dead teams will always play normal

Why would it? When 1 plays 4 and 2 plays 3, those are the toughest games of the week. Those should be able to be played at high or very high without a penelty for all star.
The criteria should be whose players stepped up that game day. In last Sunday's game, I had 3 players that stepped up big time!! Only one made the All Star.

This guy Dom Mayweather is currently the left wing Season-Long All-Star of my league.
And no... that's not an error. He truly does not even have a team.
I feel as though a "PLAYER_HAS_TEAM --> YES" code should be added to the calc or something lol.

ok... come on.
I know that this topic has been criticized to death... but seriously, the All-Star Team setup is SO broken that it's just idiotic.
My player Rolland Benedict was named the Game Day 11 All-Star RB with the following stats:
2/7 shooting
3 assists
1 turnover
0 blocks
0 steals
27:51 played
He's an offensive back (hence the reason he only played half the game), but still that's horrible. I can't believe for one second that NO OTHER RB in the league had a better game than that.
I mean hell... even Ted Keenan was more deserving of the award. He's my starting defensive RB, but he slots in at RB on offense too if the game is going well (or poorly).**
So Ted Keenan had the following stats:
3/9 shooting
2 assists
0 turnovers
1 block
3 steals
51:11 played
** That's another thing worth noting... Ted Keenan played all 51:11 as a RB... whereas Rolland Benedict only played 08:49 as a RB (and the rest of the 27:51, he played CB).
So you have a guy that played only 08:49 as a RB, had shitty stats, and won the Game Day 11 All-Star RB award.
RETARDED.

Scratch that last post. I might be buzzed from happy hour still. I'm pretty sure I was reading the wrong tab.
Benedict was apparently RB All-Star for Game Day 10 (Wednesday's game).
So while I still say the All-Star setup is retarded... apparently I'm retarded too.
