Yeah that all makes sense. I roll with 3 staff cause of roster size as well. What I've done is not have the third staff at max OR. The effects on performance is negligible, while the savings in money is substantial.
I have max OR's for ALL my staff. When they reach the max, it's "no training" to hold their salary down. No point in using money for salaries that would be better spent on Facilities. I have considered using the same approach on some of my players.
If they’re at the max, they won’t train anymore anyways?
No, I meant "my max" which might be as low as 140 instead of 200.
Most of the time I can't even find a third staffer at max OR, but I do want the coaches to all be as high as possible. I do hold like a third of the U19 and U21 players all to myself, they deserve the best! Anyways, the transition phase is at its end, the costs are getting down a bit. I just need to decide myself in letting go of the vets so I can stop paying these ungodly daily fees.
Oh wait, I just got another 80% AQ defensive back through the academy... Anyone frustrated with the draft, and with the proper facilities, interested in buying him? lol
