We've had a few people get burned by this, but keep in mind when you are creating your tournament:
IF YOU DO NOT GET ENOUGH PEOPLE FOR THE TOURNAMENT BY THE TIME THE TOURNAMENT IS SET TO START, IT WILL BE CANCELLED, AND YOU WILL *NOT* BE REFUNDED YOUR CREDITS.
So please plan your tournaments carefully.
The reason given to me by PPM was that this is done so that people do not just create tournaments all over the place, and then cancel them. You need to think through your tournament plan, ask others if they are interested beforehand, and ensure you have enough people for the tournament.

Cuistot7 started a tournament, I signed up, advertised it, not enough interest, credits gone.
i played 3 tournaments never pay anything because organizers gave me 10 credits each time to buy my spot and they even put more money in the bank and everyone got out of it with credits at the end.
so keep like 50 credits to help your tournaments getting players involve and put money in the "prize to win" to motivate others

So if you pay to enter the tournament and the tournament never starts you never get the those credits back because the tournaments creator couldn't get enough people??
Yes. The person who created the tournament doesn't. That's how I have it in my mind though I'm not sure 100%.
