I have a player named Deshawn Balcueva. He would make an extremely good goalie or d-man of which both I need, which should I make him? Scout him if you like but message me with ideas.
In my experience, great goalies are a tough find (my SA has given me exactly one goalie prospect in two seasons...and he was awful), and are the cornerstone of a great team. That said, I haven't scouted this guy, so I don't know his stat distribution or Qs.

I would say your ratios are a bit off.... meaning defense is two low for your passing and agression levels. Shooting is also very low. Passing and Aggression are normally equal. Try scouting a couple top defenders in D1 to get a better idea for proper training ratios. There is different methods of course... You would probably benefit the most with training up your players defense skill for now.
not at all On my team he'd be unusable due to the low technique since he'd be getting 2-4 penalties a game. I've noticed other people that are able to get away with that type of technique and have minimal penalty. Beyond that I like to have a bit lower of ratio of primary/secondary stats so I'd be training def much higher than pass/agg He's a good player tho! straighten out that tech and he'll rock.
I would go 2:1:1:1 with defense, passing, technique, and aggression. If you want him to be an offensive defenseman, boost shooting to the same level as your secondary attributes. maybe even higher.
