Haven't played for three years (Cambridge Hornets.) I've just returned to soccer, was wondering if I should give hockey a second chance?

With all the experience you now have, building a contender in a couple of seasons could be a pretty fun challenge to try. The game hasn't changed much. If you have the time, why not ?

Go to the manager page of "Godot" and then click his hockey team. Visit their history. You'll see he went from div4 to div2 with two-straight promotions when starting the game.

You can do it! You'll need to be smart but it is certainly possible. Feel free to inquire his strategy.

My team is not particularly old, and is competitive in 1.1!
