I've never had it happen outside of a lockdown period, there is nothing else that prevents me from bidding on a player I am interested in.

I for one believe that the Pro Pack is already provided enough perks that aren't nearly as unfair as this one.

Yes, I could buy one, and once I'm done evaluating the game, I probably will, but that is besides the point.

I'm curious to hear what perks you think the pro-pack is worth? I'm in a number of similar games to PPM, and this game has the least pro perks of all of them, and for more cost than many others.

true it is expensive. And I haven't had the pro pack so its hard to quantify, but I think the extra data at your fingertips really helps: team analysis, bid history, pro players page (for assessment so that you can set tactics and intensity and finally the league transfer and market page. Not huge advantages when taken one-by-one, but knowledge is power, especially if you know how to use it.

I also have to agree the lockout/potential lockout period proves to be too big of a disadvantage for non propack players. To answer trueblue, just not having to deal with that sort of lockout (not related to the market) is a nice perk for propack owners. Back on topic tho, I made a suggestion they address the market issue when the lockouts started. IIRC Vlady said this was an issue to them and they would look into a solution once the server migration happens. I hope this does get remedied. To me it seems the best fix is to code in something that pauses the market timer for the whole game anytime the lockout trigger is met.

It'd be nice to see a game log on the player stats page.

Press releases should be more easier to browse. It would be nice if every press release contains previous and next buttons so that you can easily browse club's other press releases.

I would like to see a category for national cup on the pulldown on the players/statistics page.

i think it'd be cool to have an option to search through players by names. i'd definitely buy a player with my name

Wow. If you want to make it a pay to play game, then so be it. But if it is truly supposed to be a "free" game, then you cannot block people's access from things that cannot be done by themselves, such as access to purchasing certain players. If you did, then paying players would rise to the top and free players would sink.

To make it fair, you provide a service that makes things easier or enjoyable like calculating stats programatically, watching games, etc., but not restricting what assets can go to what team.

Considering that the market is one of those features that is there when our own SA doesn't come through with home-grown talent, i'm surprised it's used quite that much to be perfectly honest.

Hey, one of the perks of pro-packs is more use of the system.
Stop hating on them because you're too cheap to pay.
Guess what, this isn't a free game. There is no free game.
It is either pay to play or a 2 tier system.

Besides, you aren't forbidden from bidding on those players.
You have every right to bid as much as you want to before the site goes down.

you missed the point chad, once the site is down, they can beat your bid and there is nothing you can do about it even if you wanted to, so you lose out on the player.

Beyond that, it claims to be free and no additional game advantage for pro pack. I think having access to the market when others dont certainly is an advantage. If they want to make it a you must pay to play system that's fine but they can also expect a much much smaller player base.
