Right. But, I'm not talking about making inactive teams weaker. I'm talking, if their players hit the market. The only way to prevent a complete shift in how not only the market works, but also the dynamics of team hierarchy is to terminate these players' careers.
As I recall, there was a brief period where players over a certain OR (I think it was 2000) automatically went to the market when a team became inactive. I'm not sure if it was a feature in hockey or one of the other sports.
It caused a huge glut of quality players for sale and which, if allowed to continue, would have invalidated most of the player training mechanisms in the game. Basically, why bother training anyone when you can continuously buy high OR players for cheap?
Now, only players on a national team will go to the market when a team becomes inactive, which is a much better system.

in hockey? some people reported this in soccer so I want to make sure.
There's a draft in like 2 days, I think the sports academy gets delayed for that.
please try again now. you should be able to get new players
If I have the right to vote for all elections for the World's (yesterday's mail) then why can't I vote for the Division Top elections? (i.e. U18 have four teams competing)
