It was fast because there was 4 daily calculations per day and the system was changed suddenly. Now the game goes slower and you're probably much more active than in beta so you probably won't miss the increasing staff salaries unless you spend a year without looking at the staff page.

Yes, I remember that. I mean salary increases were gigantic anyway. It needed change, but now they changed it again and they haven't even told exactly why.

I don't think they have made changes to staff salaries after that. Staff salaries will grow up to same athmosphare as in beta when staff members improve and the influence of staff gets bigger.

Staff salaries did not change a bit in Beta for 5-6 seasons. Then the recalculation at contract expiration was implemented and the salaries jumped sky-high over the night. Well, I had no promblem with that, sold some staff and replaced them with less expensive. My team was developing further without any danger of bankruptcy. That is what management is all about. But this game with these changes seems to revard users spending hours lurking on the market, buying cheap and selling expensive, possibly cheating.

Nothing personal, you're doing a good job. I hope someone in leadership will read it and give it some thoughts. BTW, I still have no conclusive answer about NT players gaining no experience at WCH.

Just for the record, I am with all those who think that managing wages should be hard, not easy.

I do also enjoy the fun of management, but everyone don't. People want to own some money, be rich like Chelsea, play Abramovich. I don't mind if they make their money by buying and selling players. That's also hard work and one way to play the game. I prefer that game would be harder, but not too hard, so that the game keeps everyones interest.

BUT what made them to change the system, did they run a simulation to see whats it going to look like or did some managers complain about it? I did see some managers complaining, but this is what they said in news about player salaries.

"Hello folks,
We have been thinking again about the salaries of the players and we decided to create a brand new formula for their calculation. This new formula will have an immediate impact when implemented. All the salaries will be recalculated so that the conditions are the same for everyone. The reason why we are going to change it again, is that there was too much of a difference between the original formula and the current formula. This change is going to take place in the near future, probably soon after the new season starts."

I have an arena custodian earning nearly 4 times as much as my star player. Awesome re-calculation guys.

Thats nothing... I have a staff member that makes almost $2000 more than all of my 12 starting forwards combined.
