He's 15, has 6 CL, and has nearly 500 OR to start the season (so he'll be as good as or better than even the highest OR players pulled later in the season). As long as all of his relevant qualities are good (I'm scouting him now), he might be worth something.

Is he any consideration for the senior NT team in a while?

I'm not really as familiar with what constitutes a future star in soccer. I've only just recently gotten to the point where I can more consistently develop players capable of making national teams in soccer. With that said, on a team with good facilities, he looks similar to the players that made the U17 team (I helped with scouting for the U17 team) as long as he has good EQ and no bad qualities in key areas.

Everybody, thanks for the feedback. His Heading is weak and his technique is at best average, probably a bit below, but Offense, shooting, speed and passing are all very good (85+). He's probably a good U17 player, but I assume as he gets older his value lessons. My concern is if I sell him I only get a million or so, not really worth it for that.

Ian Marsh could've been pretty decent, but he sold to [soccer_team=36649]. I have to believe that he could've ended up in a better situation than a team with only level 13 Training and level 9 Regen Facilities.

He sold for just $130,000. Was there really no one with better facilities that could've trained this guy up and utilized him better? What's the point? I should've just kept him.

The only reason I still bother with hockey, soccer, or basketball is because I figured it doesn't take that much "more" time to do so, and I can possibly help out the national teams. If those efforts are wasted, why bother...?

Many of the Canadian U17 candidates are guys who sold for 10-20k to mediocre teams. The top clubs just aren't developing players. Why spend all that time and money when you can buy elite players for 50-200M which is becoming pocket change.

I am focusing on developing prospects (I am done building facilities in soccer). I may or may not sell all of my oldest players again in a few seasons. I am trying to save money to buy (and retain through free agency) elite players while coasting in division II with minimal staff and player salaries. I might bid on players that are posted in this thread if they are selling for up to a few million and can provide an upgrade on my prospects at a similar position.
