looks like 6 II.3 teams made it to the next round... Every year the most D2 teams who progress come from this year. I've been in this league far too long but I rather enjoy it
I have a chance to be in the top 5... Not looking forward to moving up and doing it the other way
...and all six lost to I.1 teams. Not a single upset yesterday! I knew I was going to lose, so I sent my guys off to camp to prep for the second half of the season.
At the start of today, I had 11 points to make up and seven teams to pass to make the playoffs, although today's win moved me up to 8 points and four teams back. And somehow, I manage to play the four teams directly ahead of me and the four teams directly behind me all over the course of the next 8 games.

yeah everyone got killed in the national cup... i know its always been this way, but why does the higher seed always get home court advantage? seems like a random home or away would add a little more chance for lower teams to progress

There is NOT a home field advantage in NC games. So they play at the higher seeded team assuming they have the bigger stadium for more cash.
ah didn't know that. cool
If that's the case, they need to reevaluate and make home ice based solely on stadium size. Except for this year, I've lost home ice as I advanced to teams with significantly smaller stadiums.
On another note, hats off to the Cyclones today. I had completely expected to lose that game, but Coulliard ripped the Winged Wheel off his chest and replaced it with an 'S' as he stopped over 40 shots on the way to the win. I'd be willing to bet you'll get revenge in the second half.

It will be interesting to see the tactics played today. I think I squeezed by a grape smuggler tryign to take me on high. Either that or he caught me on tactics and Im slow.

So I don't knows what is going on, maybe a glitch of some sorts. I have two players, Church and Barkley, who's stats got all jacked up. They have 450+ in shooting or passing and less than 60 for offensive skill.... I know I didn't train that with these odd proportions. This kind of sucks though because they both had good AQ and now their attributes are completely ruined. This will take years to train back to anything decent.... what the heck
Dude. That's messed up. You hear from any game administrators about it? Maybe you could get a seven-day pro pack or something to look at their training history?
Does anybody need any friendlies? Wookies declined my invites... must be scared. lol
