Up to you really. Energy does play a factor in playoffs, but how much is the big question. What I mean is, if two teams who are about the same overall play each other then the team with more player energy should win (disregarding game importance and tactics). Now how about two teams with a overall difference of say 10 or even 20? Energy will definitely be factor for the team with the lower overall. But keep in mind what I've said is meant for a perfect system, and this sim engine is by no means "perfect". My opinion on energy is use only enough to make playoffs, conserve as much as possible and then just let it fly during playoffs. Our league is pretty close when it comes to overalls, so tactics, game importance and energy matter.
On a side note I just splurge 24 mil on a 17 year old, 800 overall goalie. Unless something happens he will be my starting goalie in 2-3 seasons. Just needs a little experience and training.

Grats on the win. Nice to see the Wookies again, but I doubt I have enough steam left to beat him (unless he's planning on coming back to II.3).
Highly possible, but does anyone know what the general sponsor deal looks like if you get relegated from league I.1 to a league II? Is there major difference in sponsor deals for an almost relegated team and relegated team? I mean if it's like an overall season difference of 10-20 mil, then relegating and taking a 40 mil promotion next season would be more advantageous for his team.
Congrats to Outsider on the playoff victory.

You only get the promotion bonus once to stop people from doing exactly that.
Relegating is always a financial hit, but some people are more concerned with being able to win some games and make the playoffs in a lower league than getting stomped most of the time in a higher league. Playing in I.1 can be pretty demoralizing for a fresh-from-II team, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Wookies decides to eat the financial hit and come back for some good times in II.3.

And that I didn't know. So staying in a higher league is better for you financially.
Hmm, sounds like a common concern that league III teams have too. Except they can purchase enough players to become competitive. Well at least in our league that's how I see it.

Two more days until we get our new sponsor and media deals. Next season needs to start already.

Agreed, which is why I can't wait for Handball to come out. Even if I have no idea how to play Handball...
You should've thrown the final, then you could still be playing important games like me!

I hope to get a good raise from sponsors. Advanced to league 1. Increased economy department by 1, and build 2 three floor stands.
Wait, I threw my playoffs. How come I don't have any special important games!
Handball needs to get here, like now.

I was hoping the beta would've been here by christmas. Just can't wait to start a sport on here on even ground with most of the managers.
