I have no idea how Brewer is 8th and Sanchez is 7th, if they have 2nd and 3rd most strongest team in our league, after me. And in regards of shooting attribute, only me and Brewers have the average shooting more than 100. Should be an interesting first round of P.O if we play against each other.
Energy saving maybe? I know Sanchoo has been on either very low or low the whole season so he will have high 80's, but I haven't paid much attention to the Brewer's. Playoffs this season are going to very exciting. There are a lot of teams that could have upset series. I believe first round for myself will be the third repeat of the Fruit Cup series in the past three seasons.
Im glad where my team stands energy wise. Last season my players energy was 90-91 come P.O time. This season im at 93-94.
Yeah, don't expect much from the Grapes come playoffs, blew all my energy trying to secure 3rd (but quite happy with that result).
I'm predicting an unfortunate first round exit at the hands of those potassium-filled yellow bastids.
I hate Bananas.

Good luck to all in the playoffs, will try to get there next season. Just ran out of gas and had too many losses early to sneak in.
My gamble worked, thanks to Sanchez. He scored winning goal on 58:59. If the game would went to OT, North Stars would secure the first place.
Tough luck for The River Rats - missing the playoffs because of goal differential is the worst
.

Wo wo wo, you forgot the sparkly part!
With playoffs starting on Friday let the sh*t talking begin! (abusive language is frowned upon)
Once again the potassium rich Banana's find themselves pitted against the antioxidant teeming Grapes. Only one delectable fruit shall be permitted to move forward in the playoffs. It has begun, the battle of the fruit cup. May the best fruit win...

Sorry... been a little quiet on the boards lately... Unfortunately for my team we have never faired well against the Spirit Crashers. If I hadn't sold off my old guys (all of my first and second lines) at the end of last season I think I would be gunning for promotion. I realized the only way I am ever going to compete in D1 is if I get my facilities up so I have been focusing on that. The money from the player sales really helped. Good luck to everyone in the playoffs. Sorry River Rats
People went into desperate mode. Managers go for 10-15M. And there is still 20 days untill we get the offers. Scared to think what the prices are going to be closer to that date. Insane...
At that rate, you're better off just keeping one on the payroll since a manager with 100 marketing only costs you about 12 million per season if he has low scouting.
Managers can be very useful, but with everyone in desperation mode I think I will once again opt out of buying a better version of the one I already own. Hopefully this doesn't come back to bite me in the a**.
Exactly. Thats what i will do next season. But for now i will have to spend some money on 2 managers, which i would rather spend on good defender.
That's what I'm doing. I didn't want to pay he price for two 100 Marketers in soccer and I think it hurt my sponsors. So I bought two 100 Marketers in hockey immediately after. I'll try to keep them, but that might be tough in III. The two soccer managers I bought were younger. I'll just train them up to 100 and keep them for a while. It sucks though.
Sorry to butt in but since you're talking managers I've got a bit of a quandary. I have a manager with marketing of 93 and another with marketing of 70 but my HR Dept. will still only be 11 at the end of the season. I know the 93 is a bit overqualified, so would it be in my best interest to sell him now while prices are up, or would keeping him be worth more in the long run as I'd only have the guy with 70 come offer time if I sold him? Basically, how much of a difference is he making as overqualified for my facilities as he is? (No, I don't expect anyone to be able to put an exact dollar sign on the answer)
