Hahaha no worries. I knew it was a gamble when i drew you as a matchup (i probably couldnt have gotten a tougher first round opponent)... and i knew it would be close. My goalies didn't come through for me though.

I'm honestly really only bummed about missing out on the tickets sales lol ... but I'll get over it.

I'm seriously on pins and needles waiting for this championship game to process. It doesn't help my anxiety that I just played [handball_team=15892] two days ago... and lost.

This is already the furthest that I've ever made it, so I'm definitely happy about that, but I'm really hoping I manage to eek out a win here in a few minutes.

Thanks!! It's not terribly often that I spend so much time mulling over tactics, lineup, and roster decisions before a match. A testiment to the quality of my opponent and his team. I swear I was having flashbacks to college with all the derivative game theory lol. I'm just glad all the strategizing paid off.

I thought I was screwed while I was watching the 1st half though. Lloyd Russ was having a terrible game, Emanuel Ayala was standing on his head, and I couldn't seem to close the gap, much less get ahead.

From watching it live, I honestly don't really know how / why I managed to slowly creep back into the game in the 2nd half. I wonder if maybe Emanuel Ayala just got tired from playing so much on VH in the 1st.

Dunno.

Definitely seems like it could've gone either way though. If not for some unlikely heroes (defensive oriented Ted Keenan leading my team in goals and backup goalie Erwin Copeland having an epic game), I doubt I would've been able to pull off the comeback in the 2nd.

Stressful as hell. I'm glad it's over lol. But honestly, great match Tesco.

Congrats zomg. I had no illusions that I was going to win that one, but it was cool that my second half adjustments made it less terrible. I'm happy enough lol!

Yeah, that's the upside to facing a I.1 team early in the NC - half of a 20K sellout is a lot of money for a newer team.
