Is it just me, or are there more goalies than pivots in this draft selection? How does that even work? It's not wonder it's a tough position to fill for the NT :/
Based on a total of 136, one might look to expect 19-20 of each. In this draft there are 18 goalies (6-6/6 and 12- 5/6) and only 12 pivots (7-6/6 and 5-5/6). I think the key is not so much in the quantity as it is in the quality.
Yup. We get like 1 A and 5-6 Bs per draft. So the probabilities of those "decent" players being pivots is quite low xD
Ditto. But the worst Qs appear to be goal but also shot and block. Likely built for a DW... will update tomorrow.
Bid. Remind me to bid later... Angela is a good nickname for him.
I think Xavies' Koby Blake is better suited for an Offensive Pivot.

I just got Koby Blake 's scouting report today and he's definitely an O-Pivot.
Wasn't planning on keeping him but if there's a definite need for U19 I'll build him up for a season or two.

Well, Blake has a 20ish OR leg up on Tom McLaren , who is the only other 15yo OP I have found so far, and they have a somewhat equivalent quality spread as far as training goes. What Blake loses in FiP he makes up for in aggressivity, and your facilities are better than Bobby Jay's atm.
Well, there's also Johnny Winter , but he's also a good OW prospect and we don't have that many of those, either.
I am training Johathan Baldry to be an OP and he's a year older and as far as I know will be the starter next season, so we could always find a rare pearl next season and just play *that* guy when he gets to 17yo. But, as we're seeing with having an offensive line-up that's not mostly 19yo, it hurts the team a bit so I'd be best to avoid having gaps again if at all possible.
I would say if canucks wants to nab Blake instead of Merkel, I'd go bid on him, but I will never be up at midnight, so that's a moot point.

I'm not really too keen on a 18 4/6 player I don't need. I bid again, but won't bid further I think. If Black goes cheap, I'll buy him. May as well use my team for something useful than a year-after-year 3rd-place finisher

No worries - I understand there's not always a good match. Whenever I see National Team players on the market I send out notifications on this Board in hopes the player might be useful to one of us and the team can develop the player.
