Royal City Teslas & Georgian Bay Giants managed to get Canada into the top 28 teams which is Great News meaning we'll have 4 teams represent us next year in the Champions' League and Cup Winner's Cup tournaments. These 4 teams will have an opportunity to play 8 qualifying games + playoffs. Each win is usually around +5.00 OTR which translates into a lot of extra cash when signing new media and general sponsorship deals at the end of the season.

The highest ranked teams in the top league qualify for the Champions' League. On the other hand, the most successful teams from the National Cup qualify for the Cup Winners' Cup. If the same team qualifies for both of these competitions, Champions' League has higher priority. In that case, the next team in line qualifies for the Cup Winners' Cup. If the decision has to be made between teams in 5th to 8th position in the National Cup, the higher seeded team qualifies.

I highly encourage all 4 representing teams to play the games as competitively as possible (H or VH) as any wins will be very lucrative and will also help us qualify 4 teams in the future. It also helps balance our league play with non-qualifying teams as we'll be using up more energy.

Anyways - congrats to Giants, Jedi, Royal, and Snakes and good luck in S15

End of Season Tips:
1) Make sure you have two managers with high marketing for upcoming sponsorship deals. Good investment if you don't have one

2) Be sure to get both training camps in - they need to start before the end of the season but they can run into the next one. Sporting Directors with high Player Training will allow more players to benefit and they will get a training % bonus as well.

3) Can be a good time to sell players that are about to experience an end of season C/L drop. Player values on the market will fall with lower C/L's. C/L drops are very predictable and most players experience one after 3 or 4 seasons. If you check a player's detailed stats C/L is viewable at the bottom and you can check previous years by clicking on the season at the top.

4) Schedule friendlies - the extra OTR from wins add up and translate to more money from media and general sponsorship deals at the end of the season. They also represent a great chance to generate a small amount of extra chem and experience for players that compounds over time

Oh... wow, I'm in the CL! Didn't think this would ever happen! I'll definitely do my best to represent us well (which means league performance might drop and this may be my only shot at it, but ah well).

Different topic: I have all the 6/6 Cl guys from the draft scouted. 6 Bs (+ 1 5/6). Not a single A so far... Anyone else's scouts more optimistic than mine? (I have 86% efficiency an HR is lvl 13, so I really shouldn't be that far off from reality. Which is depressing.)

I found 0 A's, 7 B's + 1 B 5/6. Scouting is 100% and HR 15

No A's yet.

Really not enough quality coming from the drafts. Makes it boring.
