This poor Div.II team can't afford any of those luxuries, and will probably be hiding there until we are strong enough to dole out a few surprises at the top level. Our last foray into that territory netted us 4 wins , a slap on the wrist, and relegation.
I'm dropping 2,855,965/day in excess player fees carrying 38 players. Best would be to unload my youngsters since they're cheap to replace later and I can focus on winning now. However, that'll hurt our NT. Alas, I'm going to unload some A-squad guys. Doubt I'll get much return. Seeking advice as to timing given they will help in the CWC which in turn will help Canada in the near term.

And I got my second best pull EVER...343..5/6 . Goalie ..even 80's across the board. Got him pencilled in for a starter .....when he turns 30.
Given that I sold off most of my top OR imports last year, I'm surprised I've got 5 wins. I added some less expensive imports on the wing.
I'm curious, did other people use the salary drop from a while back as an opportunity to add players? I was able to pick up veterans without much time left on their deals very cheaply and those guys were critical to me getting into this league.
