Well, this is going to be a kickin' draft, what with not a single of the 6/6 guys being an A and all

You guys have any more luck than I've had so far? The player pool seems somewhat limited, I'll have all but like, 6 of them scouted by the end. I only get 1 extra pick in hockey but 2 extra players per day, and I barely manage to scout the 6/6 guys. I get there are less players in a team, but I do feel there should be a few more to choose from...

My scouting isn't great but shows one 6/6 player as A+

Well, I guess lvl 12 and 84% scouting is not that accurate, but I wouldn't trust that A+, either xD (how many staff members does your team need? O_o)

I'm prolly gonna be in the middle of the pack picking again, anyway, so it doesn't really matter. It just seems, y'know, we're the top league, shouldn't we be getting a bit more candy than 9 B players overall ?

There's no league-dependence for the draft. I've long argued they should have OR tied to the average SA level of the league - to have more incentive to promote as a weaker team.

that's what I'm saying. It's a lot easier to stay in a II.X league near the top and get an early pick once a season than it is to get good quality players among top competition, which means we get less good prospects to develop per team even though we're generally the most active players in the country. My best draft picks have all been while I was down in II.3. The last draft pick that's stayed was Cory Campeau, and I'm not sure if he was pulled during that last season I spent in II.3, actually. All my other good prospects are sports academy pulls.

tl;dr: the draft system is kind of useless for me in my current position :/

I did the same thing when I quit basketball: sold all my players so no canadian talent would be lost before I let the team go inactive.
